Another great review Peter. Thank you. I wonder whether this £59K campervan is hailing a return to more sensible pricing in the campervan market? Targeting a 'van specifically at the UK market suggests european manufacturers may be struggling to sustain the record levels of sales they enjoyed during the covid / staycation era? Certainly, the average £80k+ prices are proving to be horrendously prohibitive to many in these inflationary times. Can we look forward to the return to more sensibly priced vehicles appearing in the coming months? I hope so.

Sadly, I think it's just a reflection of Rimor's growing success in the UK. More sensible pricing definitely needed elsewhere but I can't see that happening with current energy costs...

A nice looking van but tbh, it does look a bit cheap on the inside, and you really do need the options that that one has, which does increase the price a lot. Excellent review, and van well worth considering if you want a new 6m van on a budget. The diesel heating is a big plus as LPG is getting harder to find. LPG pumps have been getting much fewer in the three years since I bought my Auto Sleeper van...

Good review as usual Peter, so you wake up with perfect hair Eh😂😂 We looked at the 45 before ordering a CV40, main things we didn't like were lack of roof vents, black fixings on the rear door panels, seat material, stainless fruit bowl in shower room and just the overall feel inside. Yes the CV was more expensive but it just felt a better product but the Rimor will do the job of much more expensive vans as you said. Cheers K.

We have a CV20 and can't fault it in any way, took a wee bit of time to get what ticked all the boxes but well worth it. Over 18 months of off gridding with no problems.

With the desirable extras it's still £65k for a FIAT base camper. And some aspects look decidedly 'budget'. I can buy a relatively low mileage high spec Ducato,/Relay/Boxer for around £20k. I"d like to think a £45k conversion would have a little more quality than this.

List price for a Ducato starts mid £30k and this is still one of the cheapest new campervans of its type on the market. Quality is pretty good for an entry-level 'van

@@MotorhomeCampervan Today I agreed a deal on an L3H2 140hp Citroen Relay (same van). With all the gadgetry and 25k miles on it - looks new - in nice metallic grey. £18,600. Even with new wheels and rear camera total cost will be £20k.

£60,000 for a Van Hilarious 😂…….Get a LDV at auctions for £4000 with less than 50,000 Miles and Fit 3 tinted windows for £700 then Get a pre cut and Built Interior Camping Kit for £1200 Fit it’s out yourselves and buy off cut Carpet fit it for around a few quid , Cut some foam to size for a Bed , £13 , Sink £37 , Cooker second hand £40 . BOOM 💥 You got a Camper ….Saving £50,000 £££££££s 😂

You've also got a vehicle that has a resale value of about 50p and, unless you have incredible DIY skills, may well be unsafe. Whereas buy a proper campervan and its residual value will be vastly superior to almost any car. That's why the VW California sells so well, despite costing £75k or more.

You won't find a Murphy bed in any mainstream UK 'van. How about a fixed bed layout? There are plenty from brands like Globecar, Dreamer, Malibu and many others.

Enjoyed the video,I’m in the middle of converting a van, can anyone recommend foam for a fixed bed. I don’t know whether to go for 3inch 4inch or memory foam. The foam will have to be cut to an irregular shape.I’m think 4inch will be more comfortable but I’ve been told it won’t be, is this correct? Thanks in advanced if anyone can give advice.

What is this obsession with lounges? They are most uncomfortable, especially if they have muliple cushion needed to make up the bed! So many motorhome "designers" really have no idea!

This type of layout is the best seller in the UK in this size of 'van, that's why so many motorhome companies make them. In this one, you sleep lengthways and the joins between cushions are also lengthways. The cushions fit snuggly together, so you probably won't notice any joins at all.

Love it Peter nice set up but disappointing the cushions move while driving but am sure rimor will look into that and put some poppers on it so they don’t move this is ideal for those scary narrow roads in Devon and Cornwall 😂👍🏽👍🏽

Nicely reviewed as ever. I would have expected more flair from an Italian company. All seems functional, but those rear doors are basic and uninviting. Top top marks for diesel heating. At least if you are stuffed finding gas for cooking ( or anything else for that matter), you can at least keep warm.

Can you put the back cushions on the outside? So pull the two main cushions together in the middle therefore having only one seam in middle.?

No, it's built in Italy. Auto-Trail has built some campervans for Chausson and Roller Team but, I think, it's only building its own range at the mo. Chausson is starting to import campers from Italy, too.

Good luck with that one. We've had our Autotrail on order since 2021 and no sign if it yet. "No news no Fiat chassis" is all were being told by the dealer. Not even a chassis number. Other dealers have tild me Elldis have stopped taking orders and producing this year because of this. The reviewer needs to do some homework and start saying when these will really be avaiable. If ever. Reviewer needs to do some real homework and stop selling vans which are not there.

Rather than making comments like this, try ringing the importer of Rimor - M and C Ltd in Hull. They have physical stock of some Rimor models with others available on short delivery times. As a motorhome reviewer of 40 years' experience, I ALWAYS do my homework...

People have a right to know what the delivery times are as it is the only thing in Motorhome buyer conversation at the moment. So these are in stock for immediate delivery? I have rung the Trigano factory in Grimsby who build for for Hymer, Autotrail, Team Roller etc. and they won't talk to me. I have no date - 'Ring your dealer.' They use only fiat chassis and the dealers and the not on their websites concur that there is no regular supply of these vans and to expect an extended delay. You made it sound like you can just pop down and buy one in the video. I'm not buying from the people in this video but they will still have to source the vans from Fiat. Be nice if you did a video investigating fiat base vehicles extended delivery times, none delivery, cancelled orders being kept on by dealers and sold at top current retail price. Just a suggestion. 😉
