I bought the lavender scent and I wore my clothes a week later and there was a good smell I couldn’t figure out what it was then I smelled my clothes and realized that’s what it was I’m switching love this soap

I switched over to this detergent too when I moved. I love it and it smells great. But I always add a half cap of the great value color safe bleach. My clothes have no stains and maintain their bright colors. Hope you try the color safe bleach with your laundry

No need for 2 caps of detergent if you use color safe bleach. I get my clothes sparkling clean. Colors don't fade and it works better than oxy clean.

Is the color safe bleach a powder or a liquid?

It can come in either liquid or powder. But I prefer liquid. I don't like pure it's too thin. Great value and clorox 2 are thick and half a cap goes a long way

As good as Gain? I think it's just Gain Re-Badged for wal mart, I use it. its smells like gain it looks like gain.

I think so too but it is a little stronger like they add something extra.

I have some other flavors of Great Value detergent, but it looks like they have changed the formulation greatly from what it once was when I bought it. I'll have to check that out!

Hello Jaykay, I didn't know that it comes in other flavors. This one removed a lot of stains as I was washing my grandson's clothes. I am going to search for some more, because I love this one and it seems to last pretty well.

Sometimes what they do is when they make too much products they sell the leftovers they put it in a different laundry detergent and call it a similar name but they will sell it for less and tweak the ingredients just a little learn that in school

It has enzymes in it which is what you need to clean the clothes. Most cheap detergents don’t have it.

I have used it before and it works well. Smells good too, but I can't use it on my clothes because it makes me itchy.

A lot of laundry detergents have allergens in them. I am not itchy right now but most soaps and detergents I am allergic too.

Hello Dawn, I love it! I still haven't tried the Aldi's Tandil in the green bottle but I think this detergent is just as good as Gain and on the order of the Tandil in the red bottle except it smells just like Gain.

I have only seen the green Tandil here at my local Aldi, so haven't tried the red version. I love the green bottle, amazing clean clothes and scent (l like it better than Gain). I will try this one from Walmart next. Thanks for again for the great review.

@@dawnwinther376 Thank you so much for loving my channel, I really appreciate it. I really think that these detergents are probably mixed with the name brand products. I had a family member who worked for Wakefern which is a company who is behind the supermarket ShopRite. My family member said that they would repackage the name brand and put the generic label on the product. I don't know whether they water it down a little or do they add other products to it or not. Many years ago when I first started shopping at Aldi's, they used to have the powder laundry detergent and it was exactly like the Tide powder.
