Great Western Castle Centenary Special - 7029 Clun Castle doing 100mph!

With 2023 celebrating 100 years since the launch of the famous Great Western Castle Class, I thought what better way to start the celebrations than by showing you what a Castle would have been like doing 100mphehich in the heyday they achieved. I've chosen Tyseley's flagship castle no. 7029 Clu Castle as an example of the speed that she would have done at 100mph.
The locations you see are filmed from a safe distance and I wasn't trespassing at all in any way shape or form, so any remarks about this issue are not necessary for this video. Anyway here are the locations included:

Almost like going back in time with a HD camera to record how they did run. Embankments and cuttings would be clear of vegetation though.

I used to travel 14 near level miles nonstop behind a Castle pulling 10 everyday. Using a sweep second hand watch the quarter mile posts often passed at 11 second intervals, about 80mph. On one occasion only several were only 10 seconds apart, I was rightly impressed. Camden bank is 4 miles of 1 in 100 and descending that allowed them to go to three figures but only rarely done. When I made an effort to watch Nunney Castle a few years ago, I was disappointed, crowds of numbskulls with cameras and microphones, it was ill timed, very uneven exhaust beat, had 8 behind but a diesel to help. No Worcester boy was keen on that one in 1960, they would have said I wasted my time hoping for a decent showing.

Nice shot. Speed: In the intro, those exhaust beats are roughly 12 per second. At 4 beats per revolution and 18 ft circumference, the wheels are doing about 54 feet per second. Now, 60mph is 88 feet per second so the loco is actually doing about 5/9 of 60mph which is around 35 mph. Not 100. The subsequent shots are closer to 90 - 100 Ok. Does anyone have a better calculation ?

The Castle's driving wheel diameter of 6'8 gives a circumference of 21ft, so 3 revolutions per second = 63 feet per second = 43 mph. On the first clip, she is shown making about 8 revolutions per second = 168 feet per second = 114mph, second clip is indistinguishable, third clip 7 revolutions = 100mph, fourth clip 7.5 revolutions = 107mph.
