Dude was swimming in black wetsuit over a deep pocket of water and an active foraging great white got him and ate him on video, while he was screaming. Until the screaming stopped. Crazy to watch, but this is the risk of being out there. They often approach spearos due to the whole fish making all those vibrations signalling there is a meal/injured fish, spearos also bleed out their fish for better taste, but common sense ppl should not be doing that in waters with possible sharks...and they are always possible!

This is a natural encounter, not 'polluted' by the presence of bait and blood in the water, and it's how sharks normally behave around humans, who are not their natural prey. Congratulations on your calmness and composure, it was a great experience

Very shark smart to be able to gauge her demeanor. She obviously was not in hunting mode or you wouldn't have seen her until it was too late. She heard the boat motor and decided to see what that low frequency was and had a look. She was a gorgeous specimen, no mating scars yet either! She proably just reaching maturity and no doubt if she survives another year, will be pregnant and birthing her pups out in the nursery at Port Stephens or 90-mile.

I spend a lot of time on the water and always wanted to see one. I finally got my wish. We saw four on the same day, One was as big as our 26 foot boat. We followed it. It was not scared. It was cruising leisurely along at a couple of knots. when we got close, it turned on a dime and swam the other direction. It still was not scared. I was amazed at how quickly and agile the huge fish was able to turn around. The swirl it left on the surface lasted for a long time. The force that tail created was impressive. What a cool experience for you! Amazing footage! How does an adrenaline junky ever top that one? Cheers from the Oregon Coast!

How long did you take to pull your legs up on the boat ...and lingering with them hanging off, with the fins in the water .....that was the scariest moment for me 😨 For the rest, your calmness was crucial....either it was conscious or unconscious. Going towards her, while she was pointing you, saved your life .....you disactivated her predatory mode. All the contrary if you would have tried to escape. That being said, by doing that, you got farer from the boat and wow ... it's for that I say you might have been unconscious. But probably you had some kind of connection, and somehow you felt always safe. Probable your lifelong desire, your inner predisposition to such an encounter gave you the tranquillity for being in that situation. It might have not been unconsciousness, but a superior connection with yourself and Nature. But, as you said at the end, let's not tempt the fate too much Thank you for sharing from Italy
