Incredible how she reacted when your friend got back on the boat and it was just you, how long were you in the water alone with her? You guys were so calm and glad you weren't silly and got out when you saw her behaviour change. Unreal footage - and that shot deserves a thumbs up for sure.

Dude was swimming in black wetsuit over a deep pocket of water and an active foraging great white got him and ate him on video, while he was screaming. Until the screaming stopped. Crazy to watch, but this is the risk of being out there. They often approach spearos due to the whole fish making all those vibrations signalling there is a meal/injured fish, spearos also bleed out their fish for better taste, but common sense ppl should not be doing that in waters with possible sharks...and they are always possible!

How long did you take to pull your legs up on the boat ...and lingering with them hanging off, with the fins in the water .....that was the scariest moment for me 😨 For the rest, your calmness was crucial....either it was conscious or unconscious. Going towards her, while she was pointing you, saved your life .....you disactivated her predatory mode. All the contrary if you would have tried to escape. That being said, by doing that, you got farer from the boat and wow ... it's for that I say you might have been unconscious. But probably you had some kind of connection, and somehow you felt always safe. Probable your lifelong desire, your inner predisposition to such an encounter gave you the tranquillity for being in that situation. It might have not been unconsciousness, but a superior connection with yourself and Nature. But, as you said at the end, let's not tempt the fate too much Thank you for sharing from Italy

So thrilling experience indeed! You maintained yourself calm but you were ready in case of signs of changes in behaviour and it's absolutely true: they are savage apex predators and you are in their own environment with all limitations of human body in the water. Surely the fact of seeing each other turned into a curious behaviour of the shark. In other cases, with poor visibility underwater and in presence of speared fish things may take a different turn..

Great whites, saltwater crocs, box jellies, blue ring octopus, funnel web spiders, taipan/mulga/brown/tiger/Collet's/blue-bellied/copperhead/sea snakes, cone shells, stone and toadfish. It's easier to list the animals in Austrailia that WON'T kill you. Beautiful lines on her though; gorgeous shark.
