While Rock and had Cena some phenomenal back-and-forth verbal exchanges with each other from 2011 to 2013 but once they decided to have a rematch at ‘Mania 29, it ultimately killed my interest for the rivalry. It makes it worse that WWE blatantly lied to our faces with a whole “once in a lifetime” marketing nonsense from the previous year. Plus, The Rock made it clear on an interview a few years after that the whole plan was to extend his feud with Cena from ‘Mania 27-29 all along. To make matters worse, CM Punk was also robbed of his WrestleMania main event. People can say what they want about Punk but one thing nobody can deny is that he definitely deserved to main event ‘Mania 29.

How NOAH didnt call an audible and at least have the world title main event over this or even cut the match from 35 minutes to 15 or 10, I have no idea. On top of that, THEY DIDN'T NEED THE BELT for that match. What's its hype? MMA fighters!!!! In WWE!!! Who cares if they're fighting for a gimmick belt or not? SOMEONE MIGHT DIE IN THE RING!!!! Buy our show! That's what you're selling. Brock never needs a belt, HE is the attraction. Just like the rock in today's wwe, walking around with his made up "People's belt" or whatever it's called. It's a gimmick that he doesn't need, that makes him look like he's trying to be something he's not (ie an ACTUAL champion), and to be honest, it's something he has to carry around/chance it gets lost/stolen/whatever. I can remember getting the first WWA ppv on a ripped DVD. I remember I was just hoping for an alternative that was actually worth watching, one that brought me back to staying up WAYYYYY past my bedtime at my cousin's house to watch the original ECW on MSG network and being blown away. Having grown up a Golden Era kid I never saw anything like it. I think the biggest issue with WWA is that none of the roster, especially the main guys, seemed fully committed to success of the company. Everyone seemed to have something going on in the background. You can't tell me Jarrett wasn't in the planning stages of TNA or that Steiner wasn't always gonna follow the money. The idea of 70 shows a year sounds fun on paper but in reality wrestling is a gone and your forgotten type of business (unless you make a big impact). I think a lot of cards would have had to have fallen in the right spots in order for it to be a success. Instead it feels like a handful of midcard reunion shows with no real direction or attempt for the future

The Jeff Hardy/ Sting situation could have been handled WAY better. Have Jeff get "jumped" by someone backstage & now he's too hurt to wrestle. Whoever did the jumping is the new opponent for sting. It's not rocket science.

That’s exactly what bully ray proposed that night to Eric Bischoff, but unsurprisingly, Eric said nah.

As Bret Hart is my favourite, I will stick to him. His submission match with Bob Backlund was terrible. His 'match' with Vince was even worse - but that should have never even happened. But to me the Ironman match is also on the list. They should have never announced that the guys would go for an hour. It should have been a straight up match going the distance. And then go into overtime. Instead we got plodding 'action' by two of the very best, obviously pacing themselves.

Taker and hbk are the only ones who can make a good false Finisher match. Most look boring as hell!

I hated the Cena era. Really highlighted how complacent WWE had got with having no real competition.
