@@OrigamiMaster06 hm, well my take on it is theres math necessary in measurements and perspective, and science is needed to make materials for art, such as paints, different papers, etc. im not exactly communicating my thoughts well, but art is plenty technical sometimes.
@OrigamiMaster063 жыл бұрын
@@FR0GGYMAN59 I don't disagree that art incorporates math at times. As you've mentioned perspective, shading, dimensioning, and other geometric things are mathematical in concept and are highly integrated into art. I don't think that the production of paper and/or paints qualifies because then you could call almost every profession as scientific as most use some tool or medium which is manufactured using engineering based on science. I would also say that math can be very artistic. As I mentioned fractals as well as the golden ratio, Fourier series, vector fields, and other pleasing math concepts can (in my opinion) be described as artistic. So I'm of the opinion that math is artistic and vise versa.

@@MrRooibos123 Maybe the maths are not difficult FOR YOU. Maybe they are difficult for other people outside of your tiny bubble. We are all built differently. Think about that solar sail/ radio reflector that is shown unfolding in this video. That took a NASA -level Mathematician to design. That is this man, Mister Lang, with his interest in a form of art in order to accomplish. Whatever field you happen to be in, I hope you become more open-minded than you comment shows you to be, rather than being stuck as some snobbish elitist who looks down on others.
