That's in another shitty video. It just unfolds. It was never designed to be a plate. Why would you need a plate when you already have a bowl.
@pryingeyes1551
@pryingeyes1551 5 жыл бұрын
An Origami swan also unfolds into a flat plate, but that doesn't mean that's a secret function. A bowl is much more useful for saucy food eaten with chopsticks. It's much less convenient to eat food off of it as a floppy/unstable, dripping, oddly shaped plate. It's just obviously more cost/labor-efficient to make a disposable, leak-resistant container from a continuous surface rather than trying to glue separate pieces together, which would not only cost more, but be at risk of breaking apart, or being toxic.

The point of the project was to showcase their interest in the American history. And the lad did that by showing thru his flag his fixation on the design of the flag, and by proxy, the process of addition of the states to make the U.S.A. I'd say its admirable that he came up with it. Goes to show that he is a smart lad and creative in expressing it, unlike most teens today, dare I say. The flag design being made official was by provocation of his teacher who did not understand the ingenuity of his project. The teacher was not able to grasp his take on the project. It was pretty petty of the teacher to demand that to the kid
