Yep! Those wild fluctuations in the values of modern books scare me. That's why I stick to silver and bronze age- more stable

I just got that Tec 400 last month off Ebay. What was cool is that it was in a lot of 6 Adam's Tec's and I won it for $165. Mine's only a 6.0 but probably worth what I paid for the whole lot, and then 2-3 of the others are beautiful copies in the VF+/NM range. I don't own Bat #227 or #251 however as those start to get pricey in any decent grade. I did get a low mid-grade copy of #234 decades ago though for under $10. Meanwhile my Killing Joke copy bought for cover price when it came out was destroyed in a hurricane.

Great video ... I’ve got all of these except the BA12 and Batman Beyond. Because years ago when I had them I was like kids comics never go up in value and gave them to my then 8 year old son .... lol😭. I had no idea I had a BA 12 in that stack. Eventually got that one back from him, it was beat but was still able to sell for about $300 right before Suicide Squad came out. Need to replace it and track down Batman Beyond.

That's a big reason why those books are that expensive. Not a ton sold plus they were kids books.

Probably the only two animated books (and Batman Beyond 3 for the first Blight) that have held any real value over the years. And even when a seasoned collector, like I was at the time, can make that error, how many casual collectors just tossed those books? Need to get the BA12 back in my colllection but waiting for it to go back into a bit of a lull ...

I had the complete run of batman adventures. 1-52 plus the annuals. Sold them on eBay for around 650. Guy had the nerve to try and tell me that my issue 12 was all messed up. I know he was to take my 9.2ish issue and swap his POS with it. I basically called him a liar and gave him a 10% discount. Dealing with eBay..... Kinda wish I held on to the run a little longer now. I got the whole batman beyond run. Should I slab them?
