Thank you so, so much for the bit about creatives being clear about what they can and can't do. Been struggling with it lately and your advice has really helped with all the thoughts I've been battling with. As a number of people have been saying, I don't think it's necessary to share constant updates about your wedding. A few pictures later on, especially of your makeup and hairdo, isn't such a bad idea but you really shouldn't feel the pressure to share everything (or anything at all really). Some things are better (and best treasured) when kept private, especially such special and personal occasions.

I think people would totally understand if you choose to keep some parts of your wedding private. Its a pretty special day and your allowed to cherish those moments with those closest to you. But i think people are just curious about most of the fashion related aspects eg. flower choice,how the search for the perfect dress is going etc. It helps your followers feel a little involved in your journey :)

I feel so touched by your sharing dilemma. I am also a serious introvert, in fact I am much worse than you by far so I would say, follow your gut. I would not share updates but I would share the wedding. It can be really scary when things get bigger than life but you will do the right thing for you, you can share small things that excite you or maybe something that you did not think you would have to do. So go girl, you will be fine.

But the solution I think, would be for you to document your wedding plans/journey likr decor choices, dress choices, food etc. and then when the wedding is done(like 4-6months into the marriage), you could share the journey. I would keep it private up until after but i would document some things.I'm sure what people would like to know is how you picked out your flowers,the dress, the jewelry,the shoes or even the venue. That could work well coz you can even help( also maybe make money) market the businesses you got stuff from for the wedding.It would be a collaboration of sorts. But keep it private.

Hi Sharon. I suggest you keep your wedding PRIVATE. Some celebrities are suffering big time coz they went all out only to have a very public tiff, costing a lot on their reputations probably their brands. I will not mention names but a scandal went down early this year and twas heartbreaking to watch all that drama unfold. The ongoings of their marriage was/is constantly put under a microscope for tabloids. I bet you would not want to give the public that kind of power later in future, if God forbid you and your spouse have a "tiff". You said, trust your instincts. The fear you felt is justified after the engagement. You owe many nothing about your big day. Celebrate with friends and family. I don't know if I have to say it but it's better if you don't share... you won't get too many cooks into your broth and you can get as creative and emotional as it should be away from the public eye you can document and release it later where no unwanted criticism can ruin your special day now to soothe the side that wants to share you can start off by sharing your traditional ceremonies because you've concluded those and they're memories and are insightful for people of different cultures. OMG!!! I have the same fear of insects entering my body.....yikes!!! This Is Ess On the wedding issue I shared mine on youtube and my mum advised me to take it down, which I did but before I did someone had downloaded it, changed the music and uploaded it to their channel which I found absurd. I didn't find out about it until some family members told me about it. I tried contacting the guy, he was so rude but I threatened to report his channel that's when he took it down. So my advice to you is not to put it out there or be very selective of what you do because its a very beautiful private thing.
