I tried learning how the stock market works 2 times in school. It was a big part of our grades. I almost got it then it went right over my head. Too many numbers, too many nonsensical jargon and codes. You have to find someone you trust to help you invest properly and find a good investment. There are people that will lead you astray and cause you losses. There are lower risk investments that will not make you lose sleep at night.

Stay off daytrading if you don't know what you're doing (which is likely at 16). Investments should be long-term, if you want to buy the PS5 within say a year, it won't be worth it to invest for the explicit purpose of buying one. You're better of getting a side job, buying a PS5 and investing the rest of the money into long-term bonds you'll be able to rely way down the road.
