They showed Eddie Payton of the Lions. I remember a Thanksgiving Day game (forget who they were playing). Went into overtime and Eddie P took the kickoff at about the 2, ran it straight up the field for the OT winning touchdown. Shortest OT in history.

Actually, that's how I remember it too, but it was Dave Williams of the Bears that did that on Turkey Day, 1980....Eddie Payton's highlight was that he returned a kickoff and a punt for TDs in the same game against the Vikings in 1977...I think this is one of those Mandela Effect things, because I would've sworn you were right but it never happened
