On the contrary. She's really good at annoyed/angry voices. For instance, when making speeches at Tali's trial, Male Shepard sounds mildly put out, but Female Shepard sounds downright furious. This may be why there are so many female renegade Shepards - Mark Meer is good at doing paragon lines while Jennifer Hale is good with the renegade lines.

What's interesting is the more you indulge the renegade side of shep the more it subtly *becomes* shep. I don't remember my paragon shephard introducing herself with a slight shove when she says she needs information. Your dialogue and movements become more stern, some of your party members follow your lead and behave more harshly as a result. That, and you look like the Terminator

You can remove scars with medbay in my opinion these scars are great i also like red eyes but that stage when eyes have three small dots simmilar to TIM eyes

FemShep's voice has so much more emotion than MaleShep's voice. It fits the tone perfectly, where MaleShep's seemed a little stoic and cold. Jennifer Hale did a great job.

calling one of them canon is kind of redundant its a role-playing game. I find meer voice just has a limited vocal range with the way he says things so I prefer Jennifer Hale performance overall, shes truly exceptional voice actress. however I'll say meer is pretty good with dry wit/humor

Absolutely. She just has a much larger dynamic than Meer. Her emotion in every scene fits perfectly every time. Meer just has the same old tone even when being confrontational. It might work when trying to talk your way into Miranda's pants but it just wont fly when faced with an asshole of an opponent. I tried playing M!Shep but I had to stop halfway through so I get where you're coming from.

1:04 Can be alot better, team comments wise. When I first played that I had already done Zaeed's loyalty mission and had him in my squad. His reply to that tainted drink was "walk it off" followed by "a little poison never hurt anyone." That reply from him, made me laugh so hard.

I think the best Renegade moment in the video was the one not featured in the video. The one where the player ignores the first interrupts, Joram's advocate arrives, THEN announces Shepard's SPECTRE status. If you have somehow not seen it, I highly recommend using it in your next play-through.

They're both professionals and I've respect for both Meer and Hale's Shepards, but Hale just has that special charisma about her. She is heavily experienced in voice acting and it shines more and more throughout the progression of the games.

Like I could be enjoying Shepard's reactions, or I could be saying to myself damn, I think I could've put a little more emphasis in that response. I'll just have to be content with hearing about how awesome Tali is as a love interest.

List of my favorite characters in Mass Effect 1. Garrus( his character has so much development personality wise, paragon or renegade, he's badass either way,even during his emotional moments) 2. I am a huge Mass Effect Fannin is my favorite franchise and for the longest time I used to play the male Shepard... because I always thought that there's no real difference. Until one day I thought about how all the times I played male Shepard you know Garrus was never a romance option and he deserves a little happiness. So one day I pick the female Shepard and I automatically loved the female Shepard just as much as the male Shepard maybe even more because only good reason for me is to play the male Shepard is to romance Tali zorah who's my favorite character of all video games but rather than that I played the female Shepard

Personally I think femshep always talks as if she's being sarcastic, passive aggressive or as if she's just bored. For a renegade that kind of works (there's a certain arrogance involved in acting like Sovereign is nothing more than an irritation to your daily routine), but for a paragon, it's too cruel. Maleshep sounds genuinely sympathetic and empathetic in paragon conversation, plus he has a believable James Bond sense of humour.
