We have a small PBX business system and when we get scam calls on that, I generally say "Please hold while I transfer you to someone who can help" and then give them some nice classical guitar hold music. They usually hang up pretty fast 😋

This week a woman called me. She was obviously in a call center (that background noise is unmistakable) and the had a heavy Indian accent. Called herself Mary from Medicaid. I love these so much. I get numerous calls a day and I screw with these scammers so bad they wind up blocking my numbers. I love it so much when they rage.

I used to get these all the time before I got a call blocker. They hate it when you make fun of them and call them stupid, and it makes them VERY angry. I used to laugh at them and say, "Why are you getting angry at me? I didn't make you stupid!" I would also ask them if they had too much lead in their drinking water, or if their brother and father were the same person! Things like that ENRAGES them! 🤬🤣😂

I find it funny that the first scam (the refund scam) revolves around making the victim feeling empathic with the scammer but he doesn't stop insulting "Brenda". And he has the audacity to call other people "Dumb".
