This is TOTALLY AWESOME to see as I just turned 67 yrs old this month of May, n it brings back myriad memories of watching the Mitch Miller Show evenings as well as the Lawrence Welk Show on tv back in the 1960's as a kid n seeing as aVERY popular guest Teresa Brewer, whose nickname was "The Screamer" back in those days with my Mom n Dad when I was 7 or 8 yrs old. I have ALWAYS LOVED Teresa Brewer, n of course, Rhonda Fleming n Gene Barry, who I remember most fondly as Bat Masterson, in his TV show if the same era!!! WONDERFUL that you just posted this n I was lucky enough to find it!!! Cant wait to continue watching it!!!

HPD to you both! I will be 67 later this year. Our family watched these shows also, and enjoyed them. The Red Skelton Show, The Honeymooners and The Jackie Gleason Show were also great fun. 🎂🎉🌹⏳

I just turned 69 today - 23 May. Do y'all remember Perry Como? The neighbor across the street didn't have a television and couldn't speak english, but she was at our house anytime Perry Como was on. Lol. She was a nice lady! Happy birthday to all of you May babies!

Great movie, Rhonda Fleming was such a beautiful woman and a good actress. Edith Moorehead was a great actress and I enjoyed seeing her in this movie.

Awesome, I just found this great movie, I think I remembered it, especially Gene Barry going after the guy who killed the girls dad…I haven’t remembered much of the rest but it’s been a long time with this one…🤣…I’m 75 and I’m glad I found this movie again, something where the actors/actresses are real instead of fake CGI/AI characters…the new rage of avatars and technology, is killing the movie industry’s culture and replacing actors/actresses with fake personalities and characters. Hollywood has failed its artists, creative genius and talented people, directors, writers, etc., with garbage and trash storylines of technological fiction…I prefer the old days when movies were movies and films told realistic stories and personal experiences, and the careers and life’s work was a thing to be proud of….👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Keep in mind while observing the staging of this movie that it was one of approximately 60 movies that year that were filmed in 3D. That is also the reason for the ‘INTERMISSION’ title about halfway through the movie (46:44). The 3D process then in use required both projection machines to be used simultaneously; one for the screening the left-eye view, the other for the right. Fifty-minute film reels were about the largest size that the projection machines could be viably converted to handle.

Poor little blond girl. My mother is a redhead, and her father remarried a redhead and all of his children from that marriage produce 3 redheads and a blonde. And my aunt (who was the blonde) grew up accused of being the milkman's daughter, seriously. That was over 70 years ago.

Funny, I remember being out with my brunette mother, red haired sister and blonde me. Even then I(1060’s) I was aware of uncomfortable questions and looks. I just thought some adults were dumb and without manners.

Another great production from "The Dollar Bills" (William Pine and William Thomas). They had a very successful "B" unit at Paramount. Their motto was, "If you can't get Clark Gable, get Technicolor".

Did they really have a lot of ballads sung in saloons? An opera where the actors may still not have been considered proper society, but weren't saloons just rowdier? Even if it's just for the sake of the movie...

According to the “ NY Times book and movie review in 2014 ; “ To kill a Mockingbird “ was number one for both the movie and the book. Tolkien came in at number two on the list for the “ Lord of the Rings “ both the books and the movies. I concur with those statistics based on my experience. Never heard of this movie. Click bait.
