Jean Arthur still looks in her 20s here even though she's 43. She always projects a certain youthfulness and innocence in her roles that makes you adore her. A truly beautiful and talented actress, especially in comedies!

No Botox! No Steroids! Living life Vaccine Free and you never see any cigarettes hanging from her mouth... Ms. Arthur is a stand out in the generations of 43. She was fantastically hilarious! Always a pleasure watching her films.

I've always greatly admired Jean Arthur. There is just no one like her. My favorite movie of hers is The More the Merrier; she and Joel McCrea are wonderful together.

The Merrier is great. My other favorite of hers is If You Could Only Cook with Herbert Marshall. I'm actually going to watch Merrier again tomorrow. I adore Charles Coburn! "DAMN THE TORPEDOES! FULL SPEED AHEAD!" 🤣🤣🤣 I'm kind of overdue for My Two Husbands also.

Easy Living 1937 was probably the first film I saw her in but didn’t realize it was her at the time. It took me years to find that film. I also really enjoy The Devil and Miss Jones 1941. She’s so wonderful in all her films!

@@MsMars. I completely agree. She just looks fresh and young . Quite remarkably so for 43. She always project a sweet n slightly salty ladylike youthful innocence. And that voice! How can you not just love her?!! I'm pretty sure Richard meant that as a compliment. Although I do see your point, I feel the urge to snap back something about knee-jerk, reactionary feminism died with John Denver. But I won't.

World war two was raging when this was made. Not a simple time i’d say. It felt like the end of the world. Things are always wonderful and deeply messed up all at the same time. It wasnt simpler or better back then. Just different. And humans are always just human.

@@MarloweDash however times were “simpler”! The crime was MUCH lower, even though the average person didn’t own allot. People definitely had allot more class and respect for others than they do now! I’m not so stupid as to think it was all”perfect” but there was DEFINITELY allot more joy in the world than NOW!

This is the most real true to life movie ever. If you haven't been in at least one of these situations in your life, then you haven't ever been out of the house. It's so real, it's hard to watch sometimes, but the acting is the best.

I was a child; but, remember traveling through the west and there were many, many, many, many more empty miles between places. I still traveled throughout the west as I grew and it has gotten so much more populated over the years.

I really enjoyed this comedy western. Jean Arthur and the Duke were excellent together. Jean is also very good in Tucson with Bill Holden. Sammy the horse was adorable! 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

Mc Hales Navy was so enjoyable, bits of truth in each episode l think, here he talks the same, maybe only had 1 personality. Spot the thousands of moves not tolerated today. The naked hand on the hotdog 1.

sorry, but he was, in fact, 6 foot 4 inches. he never claimed otherwise. I'd say that makes him plenty tall enough.

It IS possible the woman WAS on steroids, but I doubt it! They also played Alan Ladd up to be a tall guy, only he really about 5 foot!

@@HenriHattar The most reliable record there is of his height says he was 5 ft 7 in. But other reports vary from 5'5" to 5'9". They had to use camera angle to make him appear taller. They did not have to do any of that for Wayne.

no. he got it when he was a kid. he had a dog that people called big duke. Wayne was called little duke.

This female artist voice in this is So buttery and smoothinly annoying.. I almost cancelled watching.. It is just So annoying.. If I was in a boat with her.. She would be the one that went overboard.. How could anyone cast a voice like that.. It just grates.The nerves!!!!
