Absolutely the best video on statistics that I have found on KZbin - and I've viewed several such videos. I like that the professor explains a topic from many angles, has charisma, patience with class questions and includes many real-world examples. It's the perfect blend of theory and applied statistics.

As practicing design engineer in West Cost medical industry, I find Professor Dr. Sarkar way of explaining the most complex subject in a practical approach very rewarding and helps in right metal representation for long term understanding. Although I have taken similar courses in Stanford paying close to 2K plus USD came out even more confused and even gave up statistical approach . Thanks for sharing for free and hope this benefits the transition from Excel based modeling to Python and would highly recommend to any one working with data and design.

After listening to you for almost 6 hours, I can hear your voice everywhere now. lol! especially when I am reading difficult subject matter! Note: as I am watching this in 2024 and after going through covid, the comment made by a student at 6:03:01 about the possibility of an epidemic which he thinks is rare hit hard. Edit: I am done with the course in about 3 days. I never enjoyed statistics this much even when I was in college and now I do! I have new appreciation. 1:49:07 @ Great Learning It is because we have two eyes on a horizontal line. left and right are assosiated with horzontal directions. switching of left and right is about how our eyes interpret the directions. So mirror image swithces the left and right, not the top and bottom. If our eyes were vertically aligned, the top and bottom would have switched in mirror. top and bottom orientations of objects are not affected by the horizontal alignment of our eyes. The relative positions of the top and bottom parts of objects remain the same in relation to our eyes and the mirror. Therefore, we do not interpret the mirror's reflection as reversing the top and bottom directions.

I absolutely love Dr. Sarkar's ability to cater to any kind of audience. He visited our university for a few lectures and his were the only classes that we would be eagerly waiting for. Are there any technical and more detailed courses that he teaches in Statistics?

BMI is actually wt by height squared. Body Mass Index (BMI) is a person’s weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters. A high BMI can be an indicator of high body fatness.
@msohan015 жыл бұрын
However, it doesn't matter for Statistics class but I guess @3:09 formula for BMI should be weight/(height)2. Great course. Enjoying it!

Just started. content is interesting and the teacher is wonderful. One major technical issue is that the subtitle is wrong and misleading so many times because the pronunciation is not picked up properly. Please re do it and revalidate the tool used. This will really help people inside and outside India .
