Team Infinity 2nd Degree Black Belt Hunter Orlowski, age 17, teaches how to to do a gainer aerial step by step at Infinity Martial Arts in Sun Prairie, WI, in the 10th installment of the Greatmats Sport Karate Training Series. All techniques take place on Greatmats' 1.5 inch thick martial arts puzzle mats.
Gainer aerials are a form of martial arts tricking where the athlete combines components of a no-hands cartwheel with a swinging one-leg backflip with a slant. You may see some resemblance to a butterfly kick.
The 16-part video training series includes several weapons tricks along with creative kicking combos and other sport karate techniques.
