Really looking nice, Tim. Very interested to see your roof. My roof is quite a pitch, will be nice when it is done to keep snow off, but will be a project to get it on. Your logs look great, notches really nice and scenery in your area is so beautiful. Things are going well up here, hoping to get the roof started covered up soon. Take care, will be following your build!

Why not add a course more if your roof won't allow the tractor for height?
@GreatPlainsCraftsman4 жыл бұрын
It will, but just not sure which roof line will give the most height.

Hi Tim it is getting there, just a thought if the pitch over the lean to could you dig out the floor to give you enough head room and slope the entrance ????
@GreatPlainsCraftsman4 жыл бұрын
I could but want to just use the natural slope so water won't be a problem

Look into a saltbox style roof. The two pitches are reversed. one side is 7 in 12. The other being 12 in 7. This produces a 90 degrees angle at the ridge. Very attractive, the ridge will be offset, and of course, the pitch can be varied to suite.

Right! Pine is heavy enough. But oak logs would have been awesome
