If this isn't absolute nonsense. On what grounds would he even be able to take even partial custody of Nora, let alone full? She is not even related to him. If the Sister assumed responsibility as next of kin there would be no legal means of usurping her guardianship save for if she decided to give Nora up for adoption. This story reeks of BS.

I am not saying all stories on reddit are true. But note that we will not ever find a story like 'I am lucy and the most average person in the world. All is well, nothing to complain about so byeeee' we will only have two ends of the spectrum. The majority of people who have issues and those who want to boast or gloat. Those are a small percentage of people but the average peoples stories are not found online unfortunatley

You don't find many siblings wanting & willing to care & devote their lives to their (in any way) handicap younger/older sibling. Love them, care about them and such sure. I give 2 thumbs AND a salute to the older sister. Bother for the love & care and being a pit bull in "getting red" of the "dangerous" pr*ck wanting to use her. I don’t understand how OP husband can tell her that she has to leave & he his claiming custody of Nora? He had no job & can’t afford her medical needs. He has no legal standing to take custody of Nora. How could OP just leave & not take her sister w her? So she’s been protective of Nora her whole life but just lets her ex husband claim custody of her? That’s ridiculous. So she’s just gonna leave her w someone like him & who has a pregnant woman who is just as narcissistic as he is? I call BS on this story.
