It's not Greek Independence day, is Greek revolution day because in 25 March 1821 we started fighting for about 10 years and not just sign a paper like other European countries that they took Independence with only sign a paper.

Yes, I am aware. But according to Wiki and many other sources it is also less commonly referred to as Greek Independence Day around the world (outside of Greece). Thanks for your comment.

Don't he believe Wiki. I am Greek and I know the correct name for this special day.

Thanks for your input. Wiki uses the international terminology of "Greek Independence Day" to signify when the process of gaining independence from the Ottoman Empire began, not that it was easily accomplished or didn't involve a revolution and years of struggle. At any rate, I appreciate your authentically Greek comment and have made a mental note of it for future videos involving this topic.

Well I have a good excuse: I was on a bit of a whirlwind tour throughout Greece and have just begun to process the insane amount of photos and videos I took. Plus, topics like these are timeless and come around every year and are an important part of Greek culture in general.
