Imagine my delight to hear the diagrams AND NOTES are available in my version of Logos 10! It's like I'm back in my favorite seminary language classes again. The notes are pure gold.

Greetings, Randy, it’s James , I spoke with you today on Facebook, thanks for pointing out that the supplemental material is included in the logos resource (speaking, particularly of the document you recommended that I read), I had not noticed that.

Thanks, James. Glad you found something helpful. That's one reason videos get long: there's a lot of information, and different people need different things, so you just have to try to include as much as you can. :-) Blessings!

Excellent video by the way, I love how helpful diagrams can be to demonstrate these types of grammatical nuances, and show the impossibility of certain readings. I certainly vote for more of these from you as the Lord leads.

Thanks, James. I'm glad you liked that aspect of the video. Some people may not feel so positively, but I have sense of calling beyond the mere academics of getting all the symbols correct (if possible!). So when I got the chance, I like to get into theology and life application, as a matter of stewardship of that calling.

Logos has so many morphologically tagged resources, I cannot imagine that it would be cost prohibitive for a company like Logos to tag these..very disappointed that Logos did not do this! Randy, did a wonderful job and I use the diagrams daily..but I am disappointed with Logos not tagging them. If a smaller company like Bibleworks, that does not exist anymore, can tag them morphologically, Logos should be able to.

Pastor Michael, you don't seem to understand the issue with tagging these diagrams. There are not collections of text and lines that can easily have data applied to them. They are just bitmapped images, as though you scanned pages from a paper book. There is no text data at all in these diagram images that responds to mouse hovering or clicking. The only way to tag them would be to define areas of the image associated with each word, based on x-y coordinates within the image, and connect each text area with a database of the information that you want to display. The process would likely be error-prone in various ways, not to mention extremely time-consuming. A programmer could conceivably set up a way to do it somewhat efficiently. If each word took 15 seconds, the total time for the Greek NT would be over 575 hours. Plus the programming time to set the process up, which itself would not be inexpensive, of course. Sentences containing multiple occurrences of the same word would likely end up with misalignments between images and words, since the people who would develop the alignments certainly won't work error-free. And I'm not quite sure how scaling would work. I suppose Logos itself would have to have some special programming to allow scaled versions of the diagrams to connect the right areas of each image to the correct words. At any rate, please don't blame Logos for this problem. It honestly is not a simple matter at all to do what you envision.
