Thank you so much for helping me really understand words and structure. I started with Rosetta Stone and it was just memorization. There was no instruction to understand for example verb conjugation. Your 5-10 minute videos are a life saver. I now use your channel, Rosetta Stone and Duolingo to teach myself Greek. I'm enrolling in a free University Greek class this fall. I just returned from Greece and was able to use what you taught me. Heading back in October for 3 more weeks!!

Yes there are some but not many ο αρακάς peas ο μαϊντανός parsley ο χουρμάς date ο ανανάς pineapple etc

I recommend to learn the nouns with their articles. The article το will be followed by an ending -ο,-ι,-μα. The article τα will be followed by an ending -α,-ια,-ματα. The article η will be followed by an ending -α,-η. The article οι will be followed by an ending -ες, -οι.
