Hello again. Do you have any tips for maybe not just English people, to learn how to roll the "r" - e.g. when you pronounce τρρρρριτη! Ha ha. It is impossible for me but I try and try! When I was in Greece trying to learn Greek, I did get a useful tip on how to pronounce θ (keep your tongue behind your front teeth) and δ (put the front of your tongue between your teeth and clamp down and make dth sound. I look forward to practising r r r r and making people laugh! Thank you.

In Sankrit a lunar month is divided into two 15 days periods. The fifteen days are labelled as per the number. 1st day= Pratipada, 2nd day= Dwitiya, 3rd day= Tritiya, 4th= Chaturthi, 5th= Panchami, 6th = Shashthi, 7th= Saptami, 8th= Ashtami, 9th= Navami, 10th= Dashami, 11th= Ekadashami, 12th= Dwadashami, 13th=Triyodashi, 14th is Chaturdashi 15th day is generally labelled after phase of moon on that day, if it is a new moon it is Amavasya and if it is full moon it is Pournima.

No need to answer but I am going through your excellent videos and will probably find the answer but as it is in the future when you say "On the weekend I am going holiday" is it just a slight different between παω/Θα παω ? Will you be discussing that in Future Tense? Thank you so much for your clear lessons I love them!

It seems like the word savato(i don't have greek keyboard) comes from thr hebrew word "shabbat" שבת. Shabbat comes from the word "lishbot" לשבות which means "to rest/to protest/to not do work" and is comes from the judaistic belief that god rested on the seventh day of the creation of the world thus making shabbat the day of rest. I suspect it was influenced into greek in ancient times when ancient greek ruled over judea

teacher, why on 5:01 monday only has ''ti'', when all the other feminine days have ''tin'' in front of them?
@greeklessonsonlinevideos
@greeklessonsonlinevideos Жыл бұрын
Monday starts with an Μ and in that case the -ν in the article is not necessary.
