I don't know if I'm just feeling my hangover or if I really don't like you after a minute of watching this... but I'm going to stick to it for the information and the relatively truthful humour, anyway. I may seem green on the outside... but that's because I only share and/or defend my opinion in spaces where it has impact/matters. So far for me this has been outside of the workplace (but I've only started working ;) ).

P.S.: Don't you think that in the workplace, we (salaried employees) also highly depend on being agreeable and executing before making any innovative suggestions? - I feel like most of work life is a desert brick road of executing what others want from you, anyway, even if it is a creative task.

P.P.S.: I feel I have much more leeway in expressing my (true) self if I don't have an executive looming over me - learned this throughout my civic engagement - I prefer to set my own timelines, and some superiors have a problem with that ;-) Yes, I can be resistant to change, if it upsets my productivity/FLOW. No, I can be an ambassador for change, if the *current* setting upsets my productivity/FLOW.

P.P.P.S.: I do think this video might be shaking me and other people up to think about how we (should better) cope with conflicts in the workplace, though👍 I officially out myself as people-pleaser, however I am either too active-aggressive (rebellious) or too creative to reach the level of the lady you describe - anger over having to do too much always goes somewhere ... e.g., prolonging the lunch break by +20 (but still managing all imperative to-dos)

@@FinalfantasyFRANtic Well, while I respect your opinion, I'm not here to make you like me, but to share my knowledge. And yes, sometimes certain insights can be a bit ... painful. We all have out weak spots. few of us really want to talk about them. 🙂

It is not correct. Every doctor and psychiatrist has to give you a diagnosis (box!), otherwise there is not healing.
