Outstanding! Hint, strong hands are a big plus!!! You can use a sheet of newspaper to build very strong hands. Put the paper on a flat surface. Place your open hand in the middle of the and grasp the paper into your hand. Pick it up and with Just One Hand, start making a ball out of the paper. You will feel it in your finger's & hand. Once done, spread out another sheet of paper and do it with the other hand. If you do this 3 times with each hand, 3 times a day for one month. You will soon have strong fingers & hands.

This world is so scary man. No matter how tough I am, I can still get hurt. No matter how hard I may try to avoid the fight, sometimes a bad situation is inevitable. I’m grateful for every day I don’t have to be involved in any violence. I pray I never have to.

Avoiding high risk environments is the #1 way to not be involved in a violent encounter. I hope you never have to be involved in any violence either, but being prepared is important because sometimes no matter what we do to avoid it, trouble comes our way.

Your comment made me think of the age to come. Those who are saved by faith in Jesus Christ will (in the age to come) be forever safe, and will never sin, suffer, be afraid(even a little), be in pain, think a bad thought, be subject to the un Christlike thoughts of anyone else ever again. They will experience eternal life in a place and state worth living forever in. There will be no anger, boredom, dissatisfaction, or loss. All will be sinless like Jesus . There will not be thorns, animals killing humans or each other, no death-you will be able to interact with any animal with no fear of harm. I can say from personal experience that God is trustworthy and will do everything He has said He will do. I hope you consider it and God draws you to Christ for salvation.

I had a coworker who was past service USN. I think he was on a flattop. Formation the first day on the boat, SHIP! just kidding, and the Tech or Staff Sgt. asked for a volunteer. He said he knew better but stepped up and got the best job he imagined. Basically he was sent below decks to a darkened and cool room and counted detonations of bombs and rockets when their birds had missions over some desert, somewhere. When his ship was coming in and crossed paths with the replacement vessel he would sometimes get to cross over and perform the same job on that ship. He said he preferred sea to shore and at most English speaking POCs he had a fishing buddy and a girl or two. I asked him if they (the girls) were pretty. He said not all were ugly and some were pretty. That's his story and I'm sticking to it. For now.

My only issue with many of these techniques is that when you're engaged with a fully initiated opponent, adrenaline is running high, and the knock down drag out is underway, MOST of these techniques won't work. Nothing can really replace good old fashion grinding training and the only way to learn to really fight, is to really fight. A trained opponent or a guy with enough real world fight experience will not fall victim to most of these techniques. The guy who simply throws a nasty hook at the opponent when grabbed by the neck, that guy stands a good chance. The most simple and dirtiest stuff wins almost always. Someone grabs you with both hands? That person isn't very smart and you can simply blast a punch right over that grab and likely drop a guy in many cases. In a street fight there is no such thing as cheating, whatever brings an end to the situation is what you do. Hesitation will get you hurt. It's not as complicated as people believe. If you're training a bunch of complicated techniques, you probably won't do very well in a live situation. Remember that. But, most importantly, use situational awareness to avoid trouble to begin with, then you'll likely never have to worry. I haven't been in a street fight in about a decade, and because I'm smarter than I was in those days, I probably won't be again.

Pressure point control techniques using a (flexable) pen aren't nearly as effective as using an especially effective Titanium Yawara Stick made by "Ti Rod Tactical".(and made in several Titanium Rod diameters) Additionally, they serve an often critical self defense tool role for serious striking against any bony areas of the body, have a very secure Fist Lock grip, and carry a vey low profile for pocker carry which don't "imprint" through a pocket. Pens,... not so much on all the above! 🙂.
