Plump Russell Crow AF character running the short distance at 24:50 took care of few things. 1. Notified the pilot that there was sign of life 2. Took care of his annual running requirement for the AF (possibly document it as an official PT test) Definitely a movie since he wasn’t wheezing or sucking for air while talking.

I could be wrong, but I think that some TACPs can be Special Tactics/ST TACPs who can support SOF and might be able to later attend selection for the 24th STS.

You’re very close. A Regular TACP is primarily assigned to conventional units but any of them can be pulled to work with SF, rangers, and other tier 2/3 units. They can go through a special tactics assessment and selection course to get assigned to the 17th sts or the 24th sts which is specifically assigned to tier 2 and tier 1 units.

Can I make a suggestion for a review? ZeroZeroZero is a great 8 episode series with a great story arc about how drugs are smuggled internationally (and all the dangerous challenges that come with smuggling). Although there are multiple parties and associated story lines, one focus is how the Mexican elite narco-police have to operate when fighting the cartels and the corruption. Great gritty tactical combat situations to comment on and very interesting main characters to talk about. Just my two cents and would live to hear from other folks if they liked the show as well!
