How about reviewing a documentary?? Restrepo or The Hornets Nest. P.S. at the end of Restrepo, you see 1st I.D. guys struggling to get up the mountain. That was my sister battalion 1/26IN, I was a medic and had actually just been transfered to 2-2IN battalion from 1/26. I may have dodged a bullet..on the flip side I did get blown up twice down in the Arghandab RV in Kandahar province so who knows 🤷

My father was 101st in 1959, and their version of the 'Team Hat' is Black Corcoran Jump Boots, laced the 'right' way and daily polished to a literal mirror shine you CAN clean shave in. riiighhhhtt.... and in the process managed to completely ruin the story. They could have easily just changed the nationality but kept the rest of the character arc...but no! that would have made sense and we cannot have logic anywhere in these series. So, instead, she's literally just a random reporter lady who for some unexplained reason decides to totally help the maniac killing people. She just goes from ''omg, he's a maniac!" to ''yay, I', gonna help the maniac explain and cover up his crimes!" within like 5 minutes for literally zero reason. I trully believe that the people who wrote this show were brain damaged. That is literally the only explanation I can think of for such ''creative licence".

Also, i'm pretty sure no one thought he was a cop bc no cop has ever had THAT dumb of a reply to any question. Ever. The dialogue is like literal nails on a chalk board. The only thing good about the TV series is that it cuts out some of the trully disturbed and bizarre stuff from the book. That's it. The book is one of the best examples of accidental parody I've ever seen. I still kinda think it was meant as a practical joke. It cannot possibly have been meant seriously. It just...can't. 🤣😅😅

I would like to see you guys breakdown the show SEAL Team. I'm not military or anything, but from what I understand from other former military people's perspective and that there are actual former SEALs and other spec op guys in the show, it's pretty accurate tactically. I personally really like the show and there are a ton of great moments in there. I know you're busy with other shows so I know it probably won't happen anytime soon, but SEAL Team would be a good one to breakdown.

The ridiculous thing about the diner scene is how Jack Carr's character made zero effort to hide that was ex-military. He knows he's going after a SEAL but apparently didn't think it was important to drop the "ex-operator" outfit. Leaving the house like "Oakleys - check. Ball cap - check. Button-up - check. Beard nice and bushy - check."

Bwahaha, Brother, you had me ROTFL with your take down of our "civilian uniforms".. Back in the day, when I was working Intel in the Gulf, I went full tourist mode. Cargo shorts, sneakers, stupid wide brimed hat, and Tommy Bahama shirts. No Operator here folks.. Now I'm in the Philippines and the 1st Group Guys stand out like beacons with their tacticool hats, shirts, stretchy pants & Merrill or Solomon hiking boots. Having also done a stint as a LEO, Construction Worker is the "go to" plain clothes look. I always found it better looking like a sales guy, Khaki pants and black polo with some nondescript logo on the pocket. Love your takes Bro. 👍

@@williamflowers9435 omg, where do I even start? How about the random melodrama? Main character screwing ever single female in the series. Not kidding. There's 1 he didn't, and that's just bc she was with one of the other dudes. THE damn melodrama!? The random ''shakes", where he's supposedly fighting bad guys while suffering some kind of nervous breakdown simultaneously. The complete lack of logic to any of the plot points. The fact that this dude believes everyone will LITERALLY fall apart and die is he takes a vacation or retires....WHILE, simultaneously, shaking in a corner 5 minutes before every mission. Way to go ''leadership skills"? Like...why?? O_O no one knows. Have I mentioned the melodrama? Is there a female anywhere on the horizon he's now screwing? Nope. Bc everyone knows that's what really cures PTSD. Screwing the shrink. Does it cure ''the shakes" which look suspiciously like withdrawl from illegal drugs but which the movie never portrays that way?? Hell, no! This is totally normal. Everything is ok. US security is in good hands. ....in about 10 minutes bc a female just walked by and...you know.

I hate it when people say stuff like that bc 1- none of the logic in the movie works, it may be technically accurate in terms of a few moves here and there but the moves are happening in a fight scene which makes zero sense. so who cares? 2 - 99.9% of the audience is not gonna notice those little trivia details you're all excited about. They're gonna notice Chris Pratt looking like he's got brain damage AND severe hemorrhoids tho, throughout most of the movie.

if the movie had ended with the main character waking up from Severe Hemorrhoids-induced hallucinations, that would have actually been a better ending. It would have made a lot more sense. He actually sees someone he knows and they start talking and he is asking about guys and they keep stopping in mid sentence to not give any details. I normally don't read fiction either but I did read all of the "Terminal List" books. In fact, I actually listened on audiobook, 2 times per book. I thought they were very good. The first season of the show made quite a few changes and omissions of details in the book. It'll be hard to know how bad that is in the grand scheme of things until more seasons start dropping. I'm not optimistic the way television entertainment has gone lately. I'm fairly confident that it's not Jack Carr who is ordering Amazon to dial up the drama. In the books, I felt it was always well placed and well written. In the show, I would bet a lot that it's Amazon changing what the books said, often times quite drastically. Changing 1 character's entire role and fate in the series. One of them was killed off in the first book but in the show this person (so I don't spoiler) received a completely different fate for... You decide what for. 😉

Yup, seeing Kurt trying to cuff Sean while he was lying on his stomach looked about as homosexual as Kurt realized it was as he was mounting Sean . 47:13 Hilarious 😂

Gotta keep this TV series coming. I never seen this show but I want to know what happens and more importantly what Sean thinks about it.

I'm with you Buck. I have never been able to get through the first episode of this show. Maybe I'll try it again if you bend up liking it. Seems like we are on the same page
