I'm a seamstress. There is SO much wrong with the green dress. The back waist is too long, giving her the hunchback look. The shoulder seams are too narrow. Shiny fabric on almost anyone will shine a spotlight on trouble areas. I think, as well, the dress is so tight that it's unflattering. If you want to appear svelte, have your clothes skim your body, not cling! Princess Catherine has mastered clothing that fits very, very well and mostly skims, and doesn't cling. This also leads to fewer wrinkles after sitting. (Along with using quality fabrics) think about sitting in a skintight skirt vs an Aline skirt. The skintight one will crease along the lines where the fabric is struggling to cover where we "spread" as we sit.

I think she didn't follow the color scheme because in her narcissistic mind she thought she would stand out as the "beautiful and glamorous Meghan" by being in a different color.

Meghan had such big shoes to fill with Catherine as her sister-in-law she never stood a chance. I felt bad, initially, hearing her constantly compared to Catherine because it doesn't breed good sisterly affection when everything you do, say, or wear is overshadowed by somebody who can do no wrong in the eyes of the public. That feeling has since changed. However, I love Catherine's silent response to Meghan not going along with a colour scheme at Louis' christening by wearing a bright pink above-the-knee dress to Archie's. She stood out just like Meghan did, but not like a sore thumb, more like a sight for sore eyes.

As to why megs refuses to follow a requested color palette for pictures, as in the christening photo, the answer’s simple. She’s a narcissist, and this is a great example of how narcissists scheme to draw attention to themselves in any situation.

And then this woman had the nerve to claim in their Netflix show that while she didn't fully understand the dress code AND no one helped her, she generously took it upon herself to wear neutrals all the time to make sure she blended in and didn't upstage people. She also claimed royal ladies are not allowed to wear the same color... They wear the same color All. The. Time. They coordinate when they care and don't when they don't. Meanwhile, Meghan wore more color in her few appearances as a working royal than she ever had in her life. Before or since. Since being booted from The Firm, outside of the infamous red gown and that recent gold nightmare, I can't recall her wearing anything that wasn't black, white, cream, beige, muted green, olive green, poop green, khaki brown, poop brown, etc., you get my drift. 😁

Oh that was such a clash of colour that day - I hated that green dress. I think she was trying to annoy the family by this late stage.

The family picture with the olive dress is sooo funny. Megan's dress merge perfectly with the curtains, making her almost invisible, while the other ladies stand out with their light coloured dresses.

The fabric looks like cheap polyester, with no "drape". We used to call that fabric "crimplene" and it was deemed indestructible - it lasted for decades and never wore out, but it was hot and didn't breathe, like a rubber wet suit. And the bra, don't get me started.
