This was such a great emotional performance because this was in 2013, a few months after Billie had that breakdown at an iHeart Radio show and was checked into rehab for his drugs and alcohol problem. So this is him getting back out there sober and grateful to still be alive

I’m a 63yr old Aussie mum, fricking love Green Day! Goosebumps! The sound of music coming up through your feet and pounding your chest at the same time is for me the best feeling of all time. It started for me with AC/DC as a teen in the 70’s in Melbourne when I saw them so many times with the brilliant Bon Scott! I will always remember how it felt for the first time, feeling the music throughout my body. Magical!

You should react to the Green Day gig here in the UK, when the warm up DJ started to play Bohemian Rhapsody and the crowd takes over. Will be the best crowd sing along you'll ever see ! Could be the same gig ?

Not the same gig obvs .

I was born in 1992, i consider this to be one of if not the most iconic song of my youth. It certainly resonated with me and still does, seeing so many people singing along is incredibly moving. Great song, great react. Thanks guys :)

This show was Reading 2013, 99 Revolutions tour, Billie Joe just came from rehab in march of 2013. His voice was still suffering a little from rehab, but the energy was great, and sober.

When they started playing, I REALLY expected to hear “Today is gonna be the day that they’re gonna throw it back to you….”. I never noticed how much that riff sounds like Wonderwall, before!

Boulevard should almost be one of the encore songs. The last song of the first encore where they've usually played something like Jesus of Suburbia, before diving into the solo acoustic stuff and Good Riddance.

Why are you in a band just to play songs for yourself?! No, if the audience is with you and everyone is enjoying the moment, that's what it's all about in the end
