I’m going with ZRP too… my friends tell me the help with the bumpsteer is very noticeable and you don’t have to drill out the spindle like ST

Dirt dudes just had a brand new 2025 pro r that ripped the arm out like you are talking about in one of their last videos

Oh dang Didnt see that part. I know he broke a ball joint i think...

@GLifeUTV yea his car did. the other guy in there group had a super new car think they said it had 30 miles on it. Rolled it and ripped it out

So if we install one of these gusset kits, I wonder if it doesn't rip out the chassis.. if maybe just the arm will bend. That would be ideal as it is way cheaper to replace

In 5 yrs of desert riding, flat landing at 60mph. Stuffing the nose on stock skid plat, driving up not a ditch and driving out. I’ve never had one problem with my 2020 XRS two seat except DPS in a roll over which ruined my boys trip. I’ve done all the right upgrades double shear this and that. Trailing arm brace etc she just keeps going. Can am for the win baby. FYI only been in the dunes once at ocotillo wells superstition Mountains.😂

Would invest in a sand craft rack support i broke my 2 ball joints and bent my tie rod on my passenger side and it also broke my rack

Upgrading easy and cheap to replace tie rods is a good way to destroy an expensive and difficult to replace steering rack IMO.

I definitely see what you mean. But driving fast. I much rather rely on a stronger tie rod versus the OEM one.

My stock tie rod bent and it still broke the rack 2k for a new rack and definitely not eazy to replace

With the new pro R being close to 50k I’d assume for all these things you mention being more heavy duty like someone mentioned dirt dudes ripped the arm out of the frame with a brand new car. I get it it’s part of the game if your get into this you better be prepared to spend. Wonder how the 4 door maverick r will compare to the rzr pro R 4
@GLifeUTV14 күн бұрын
Also Glamis is unforgiving. A $80,000 sound rail will have issues as well... The pro R platform is really good. No matter how many hours of engineering Polaris puts into them, a crash or hard hit will always find the weak spot...my mav r 2 seat has been great other than one trans code that it just threw this last ride. Every 4 sear owner I've talked to says the new Max is great. But I have not had the opportunity to drive one
@chrislsx14 күн бұрын
@ agreed!! Like they say gotta pay to play! My buddy just got the maverick r 4 max x(red one) and I’m impressed of how good it handles and the power delivery on the straight away it beat a pro r 4 by about 2 car lengths. I do say it will need a spring kit because it bottomed out a few times in some trails in San Bernardino. We’re heading out to glamis next weekend and we’ll pair both and compare them out in the dunes
