Nice one Freddie another entertaining and informative video, I like the detail you go into with the kit / accessories etc, I used to green lane an old series two land rover and am looking at getting a small off-road bike to do it all again. You're a brave sole taking that lovely bike down them lanes though, them rocks and that low ground clearance aside plus road tyres and all, but good on you! Now to the cleaning

Freddie off road...Oh man this is going to be fun to watch....Looks like fun off road there...If I get back to Europe this summer I'll check it out....Oh , When did boots need to have zippers ...If a boot string breaks ya buy a new boot string a couple of bucks...If a boot zipper breaks you toss the boot or pay as much as you did for it to be repaired if you can find someone to do that...Get a pair of low top lineman boots and for off road some tall lineman boots and grease them up for waterproofing...and maybe a few pair of boot strings in your pocket..lol...

The Bonneville looks so stylish with this brown seat, its a very cool bike. Honestly, this black seat, what you have on the bike in Tenerifre, is ugly like an old sofa, but must be comfortable.

Love your videos and the way you enjoy your experiences. A little tip, when going through water lifting your legs raises the center of gravity and the chance of falling. Weighting the pegs with your feet lowers your center of gravity and adds to your stability and control!

If you remain sitting having your feet on of off the pegs makes virtually no difference.

@@davidmatthews3093 with your feet on the pegs some of your weight is on the pegs and it's easy to add weight by lifting your but up, you don't have to clear the seat just put more weight on your legs, it does make a big difference!

Really a very well composed video. From the start to the end , lovely. I'm considering a T100 with which i would occasionally go off roading, did you mod the suspension and how did the ground clearance keep up? but the riding was clean tho. cheers

Thanks Joel! It’s the standard suspension so does scrape a bit. I stupidly forgot to put my sump guard on (TEC bike parts one), which protects the frame and bottom of the engine incredibly well- i highly recommend a sump guard and then you’ll be fine with soft off roading!🙂🤘🏼

hi Fred never did any green x-county in my day, had a t120 and a trident sorely missed. Never got caught speeding, lack of camera's in the 80'90 would defiantly have a radar detector now. Too much government control. 1984

The problem with having a beautiful road bike, is that you can't really get one on secondary roads like these. That's also why nowadays most people prefer adventure bikes and crossovers. If you can't afford more than one bike, you get an adventure bike...

If you’ve watched top gear you’ve seen the amount of abuse machines can take and not break. Maybe throw on a skid plate or maybe you’re subconsciously trying to break it so you can buy that T120 :)

Hi Gary, I'm spot on your height at 6'1. Some people say the T100 is too small for a 6'1 person, but I really love the size of it and find it very checkable and fun because of the ease in man handling it. The T120's physically bigger, but I personally really love the Street Twin and T100 for their useable power and physical size.

Sorry Brian, it's purely a British thing, so maybe not the most sensible title! Green Lanes are a network of legal off road routes across the UK. They're never paved or "made" roads, but old routes that vehicles are still allowed to drive/ride on legally
