This is very exciting. I'm glad CGC finally decided to verify. CBCS was way ahead of them. I see that one signature authenticater on Pawn Stars quite a lot that works for CBCS. Cool sketch covers and signatures.

I sent in a sketch by Jonathan Glapion but they gave it a 9.8 green label that says autograph authenticated by JSA sketch written on cover in marker. So dissapointing I didnt get a gold and black label..

That’s very odd. Did you send it in right when they started? If so, might be worth revisiting with CGC since it seems their policy may have amended slightly.

​@@LongboxLoveAffair I cracked the slab myself and resubmitted the same book. It got the cgc jsa gold label thankfully. I dont know what happened the first time around but it is annoying I had to spend the extra money to get the gold label.

The JSAxCGC slabs look nice - have a pile Im considering too. Turn around doesn't seem too bad either. I do think after seeing this, I'll probably keep my sketches to CBCS. Your reaction to the 9.6 is pretty much exactly why I prefer their ART label. The focus should be on the art, not the canvas. Just me rambling, not a criticism of you lol - but I thank you because you settled my mind on the topic.

I agree. Most of my stuff is CGC which is why I like it as an option … but the art label gets to the heart of why we get sketches.

Very cool they’re doing verification on the Sketch In my Opinion the CBCS Art Label is better number grades on a drawing mean nothing obviously if you have a ripped and stained sketch it’s not gonna be appealing But if you keep the book in nice shape 98 doesn’t matter someone will buy the art it just depends on character and artist

Agree about the art label. Most of my collection is CGC so I prefer to keep things consistent, when possible. Alas!

It's a minor issue, I guess, but CGC could do a lot better job centering the grade in the box.

The issue for me is that CGC doesn't authenticate the sketches. They verify the auto but the sketch is just as important to have authenticated
