I would like to see a gritty reboot of Winnie the Pooh by Tim Burton. It would be basically the same as Alice in Wonderland. When Christopher Robin as an adult returns to the Hundred-Acre Woods which now reflects his darker imagination. He meets dark beastly versions of all of his childhood friends who must prepare to protect their home against the Heffalumps and Woozles. Also Piglet wouldn't talk he'd make unintelligible squeaking noises that only Pooh could seem to understand, scamper around, and act as more of a pet to Pooh like Snarf in the 2011 Thundercats.

All of the original fans of the original series are going to be a lot older now, so it makes perfect sense that if you would situate a movie around one of the older characters, you should target that older audience. PG13 gives it that nice middle-ground so that parents like myself who grew up watching that show could easily take our own children to see it.

I'd see a PG-13 Power Rangers movie. I would've gone to see the Time Force movie if they hadn't cancelled it. I think Teen Titans deserves a PG-13 movie, because fack Teen Titans Go and everyone involved with it (especially Aaron Horvath).

I'd prefer an NC-17 or R mini-series on HBO, Showtime or Cinemax of the first four seasons' worth of Power Rangers as adults today in the ruins of Angel Grove & Stone Canyon. However, I'd scope it out...on video.

For question one, yes, I'd see a PG-13 PR movie. For question two...I'd love for them to make Gargoyles, Street Sharks, Captain Planet (for the lols), Mighty Max, Samurai Jack, or Beast Wars into a more adult movie...or just bring back Courage the Cowardly Dog, because let's face it, some of the $#it on that show was scarier than any R rated show, just kids are too young to understand why.

I wouldn't mind seeing a revival of Courage the Cowardly Dog for the big screen. I think it should be stop motion or just in the animation style of the show. It could be like a throwback to quirky horror comedies. Wes Anderson said he'd like to Direct a horror movie, so I think his style would fit PERFECTLY!

It was mostly based on Neon Genisis Evangelion. There were talks with Deltoro actually making an EVA movie, and it fell through, so Deltoro pretty much went, "Screw it." and made Pacific Rim based on his love of Kaiju (Godzilla, Gamera, etc.) and mech anime.

It would depend on how they did it. There are several issues that need to be addressed. 1) The Green Ranger powers were lost. 2) Powers tend to be team based which means that Green Ranger was always meant to function as part of a wider set of Rangers and we know that Austin St. John and the others wouldn't be able to do it. Thuy Trang is dead. 3) Dino Thunder established that Tommy became a science teacher. Would this fit with his character arc?

Actually, Rita Repulsa restored the green rangers powers when she created a clone of Tommy to fight the white ranger as the green ranger. At the end of that the clone was sent to live in the past but he still had the green ranger powers with him. which means there is still a functioning green ranger power coin somewhere.

No, that's just it; The Dragon Ranger was conceived as a villain-turned-extra-hero in a story about a team of rangers. There's no solo story there, he exists to be a foil to the other Rangers, and if you re-write his story to remove them, you might as well call it an original IP.

I like that Power Rangers might actually go through with this. Personally, I was not a fan of the show when I was a kid, so I don't really care for it now, but I think that if this is successful, it might inspire other franchises that people grew up with to do something similar. For example, something like Pokemon, which has a huge adult fan base, could make a game with redesigned pokemon to look more like actual monsters. I think this could open a lot of doors for this kind of market.

While I do like the idea of a Green Ranger movie, I think a film reboot of MMPR would be cool too. I can see Josh Hutcherson as Jason, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Billy, Tyler James Williams as Zack, Chloe Moretz as Kimberly, Ellen Wong as Trini, and Avan Jogia as Tommy. If they can't get them, then Tony Todd as Lord Zedd and Peter Cullen as Zordon, Hollywood. Make it happen!

Absolutely. I grew up with Power Rangers, and have grown to enjoy action movies.. I'm still a huge Avengers fan and its one of my fav movies ever.. but a power Rangers movie would totally knock it down a peg just with nostalgia alone. I know someone below said it, but I also love SWAT Kats and Biker Mice from Mars... seeing new versions of those would be pretty cool.

I would totally get behind this. Green ranger wouldn't be my first choice (more of a blue ranger fan), but a PG-13 movie would at worst become a guilty pleasure. The only thing I would offer as advice is to make the martial arts look just as flashy, but not so fake... If that makes sense. Make hits look like they have some punch to 'em!

Yes, an adult oriented PR movie would work, it might not make Avengers money, but people would definitely see it. I would like to see JDF and the original Red Ranger come back and make a whole new team, new equipment, etc. Bring back as many original MMPR as possible, get a really good sci-fi/action/drama vibe for it..I'd definitely see it several times.

In the Japanese, I believe the red and green ranger are like brothers-related. They grew up together. But the green went bad and a deeper story in that between red and green. Also, ppl actually dies in the Japanese. Only the pink galaxy dies in the American version, that was as close as they got.

As someone who grew up during the anime boom, I missed out on Power Rangers, but I've always had a semi intrest in the series, I just never got into the later shows. Honestly, I wouldn't mind giving a darker take on the series a look.

I guess there are a few times where it could be set, it could be set between his green and white eras, the timegap between turbo and DT because in the episode "forever red" it is revealed that he still had the red zeo powers after turbo which also leaves room to explain why he doesn't in DT or it could be set after DT because I kinda zoned out of the series since JF so I don;t know if he has made an appearence since

I'd REALLY actually like to see some of the old cartoon network shows reworked. I mean, those were the reason cartoon network got famous, not all these new shows. Like, what about The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy? That show is begging for a darker reversion! Or you know, Codename- Teens Next Door? I'd fight to the death to make that happen.

@Deka Red yes! Totally agree, the reason why I've lost a bit of interest in the newer power rangers is because they haven't really matured over time (except for the better graphics). I would really like to see a new era of power rangers in which they're more mature and the concepts are more mature and the audience becomes emotionally attached to the characters. I want to see darker tones and serious concepts. I want it to be kind of how the Teen Wolf movie got a darker more mature series reboot. I think the power rangers in darker more serious plot would be really interesting to see especially for older fans.

First: Forever Red was not a movie, it was a 30 minute episode of Wild Force that celebrated the 10th Anniversary. Second: I wasn't talking about a team up of heroes, I just mean the attitude of the film. They should make a movie about a team of rangers we've never heard of before. Or perhaps make the first few episodes of Go-Busters into a movie, that'd be sweet.

I would love to see a PG-13 version of the Super Friends. Not Justice League, but the Super Friends. With the Wonder Twins in it and everything. Not only PG-13, but campy as well. That'll be fun to watch.

Plus I think they should reboot the series and give it a more in depth history by making Zordon the first original ranger, that way they can use those past rangers and make an even bigger Ranger war

They are making a movie based on the book Magnificent beasts and where to find them. A book required in your first year at Hogwarts. Not exactly Harry Potter but it's in the same magical universe.
