When the Covid-19 outbreak started, I had no idea that John Fogerty was going to be the one celebrity to step up to the plate and really deliver something useful during these times. Way to go John and family.

These are historic times in that the greats do this at this time when they dont have to. I am 67 and John Fogerty and the others such as Neil Sedaka do these things from the heart to help others. Whoever the kid was who operated the projector played "Green River" EVERY day over the sound system as you waited for the movie to start. Those of us who met in the auditorium for this every day would laugh and look at each other and say, "Again?" Good thing it was a great song! And here I am, listening again. I joined the US Army in 1973 as a Seventeen year old and am now 65 years old. My Father had to co-sign so I could join because I was considered a Minor. Your songs are so fun and interesting and I have had a blast over my time when I was the Lead Singer in several Bands that we had here in El Paso, Tx. I could always count on songs like, "Who'll Stop The Rain", "Proud Mary", "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" and many more to absolutely fill the Dance floor immediately when we would just start playing the intro. But I have watched you during this Covid-19 Virus, and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your Children perform with you and they are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! But with your personal touch of telling the stories and along with the performances of the songs, you almost make me feel like I am a part of your Family too!!!! The other thing that has always impressed me about you is how gracious you are always to your fans. You are truly a special man and from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful gift that you share with us in these Videos with your talented Kids. My favorite band of all time. Own every album from the Golliwogs, CCR, BRR, through your most current release. Tom Fogerty albums and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford. Felt like you were too bitter to be true to your music for many years but I understand. These videos please me greatly because it seems like you have truly returned to your roots. No politics, no celebrity, just a great musician. Love the stories behind the songs you wrote.

Probably my favorite CCR song. Such a fantastic tune all the way around, but those guitar licks are what made it stand out for me. Then the incredibly evocative lyrics and John’s powerful and unique voice. It really doesn’t get any better. How did a kid from El Cerrito come up with this stuff? It really is amazing.

I could listen to this man all day long while dreaming about my old Rock-N-Roll band days. It was so good.

I was about 15 (1987) when I first heard the songs of CCR...fell in love with the music instantly! while every boy my age was listening to Tears for Fears, A Flock of Seagulls, Fiction Factory, I was dancing to CCR's music... greetings from the Philippines!

My oh my, have the times changed. One of the true geniuses of the 60's & 70's still sounds fantastic and his body of work is as timeless as it is charming. Love the family angle that this goddam virus has wrought -- maybe the ONLY thing about it that is fun, in the moment. Thank the gods that KZbin, for all its faults, exists -- and is so accessible. You can work at your PC or whatever and listen to stories from the one and only John Fogerty. Amazing.
