I have a question, if you are being attacked by Black Magic as you were unlucky enough to meet someone that was not practicing good medicine ways though you yourself have always been this lifetime, and the beings are eating your body, and attacking you does that mean that with Green Tara if you agree to what is being said and take the empowerment here, then do you need to offer your body fully to the entities and just go along with it letting them do whatever they want and figure it is your karma? These people have already hurt more than a few people, Just wondering. This is a serious question not conjectural. I am currently doing the GT practice but only have the transmission, not the empowerment.

Yes, it is equal! This is what Garchen Rinpoche once said regarding empowerment over the internet Garchen Rinpoche said, whoever has faith and devotion will receive the empowerment regardless of where they are, because the dharmakaya pervades like space. Even if you come to the temple to receive an empowerment, if you have no devotion you still will not receive it. To quote Lord Jigten Sumgon, “You receive the empowerment only when you understand the meaning of the empowerment.”

@@HeidiSK-Walks I've heard that it is equal but also that it must be live, in real time for the empowerment to be valid. Never heard about recorded empowerment, not from Rinpoche or any other lama.

@@nicmaquiavelo Rinpoche said it numerous times, that a recording is also valid, knowing that his students live in different time zones all over the world. His empowerments are powerful enough.

@Kœnchok Palden Tengye Aren't you supposed to have an empowerment to self-generate as Tara? My understanding was you could front-generate these action tantra sadhanas but not imagine yourself as the deity unless you had an empowerment.

Of coarse it´s not just about language, when see Lama chanting I believe it´s enough to know some words and know what kind of teachings we are practicing, most teachings happen beyond common sense like words and language.
