I am about to begin my breeding journey with chondros. The sire is an aru locality with a ton of blue, what locality would you suggest for a dame to shoot for in order to produce stunning babies?

It's all about personal preference, however I would only breed to another Aru animal. We need more pure Arus! :)

Would yellowXred have a different ratio of red:yellow compared to a redXred pairing?

Hi Tony, that's a great question. The short answer is that while there are variables, breeding red to red, or yellow to red, will not make any difference in determining the amount of red or yellow babies in a clutch. Hope this helps!
