What is the purpose of crossing localities. Why wouldnt the pure bloodline be more sought after.
@gsreptiles560610 сағат бұрын
Benjamin, I'm a "Purist", and 90% of my chondro collection are pure Manokwaris. Many prefer "crosses" or "Designers" however, so to each his own. :) Thanks for watching!

How do some GTP give live birth and some have eggs?
@garyschiavino175126 күн бұрын
Green Tree Pythons only lay eggs. Emerald Tree Boas give birth to live babies.

I love when you have the new people that make fun of the old timers and act like they’ve evolved into better chondro keepers than before them. You give them a suggestion and they freak out and get defensive immediately. If it weren’t for You,Walsh,Maxwell,Worrell,Walder,Tepedelen,Odinchenko and others I missed there wouldn’t be all these big headed young bucks…

Would an aru crossed with a different locality have a chance to have red offspring? Such as an aru x manakowari
@garyschiavino1751Ай бұрын
Absolutely! In fact I'll be offering Red, Aru x Biak babies very soon.
@SmithbriartАй бұрын
I understand where you're coming from. But people should be allowed to ask legitimate questions without being made to feel stupid. Let the person decide for themselves if a GTP is the right snake for them, rather than judge the person and decide for your self not to sell it to them. Just because someone may be a novice to GTP does not mean they will be a bad pet owner.

What do u prefer about the helix therms over say ve or herpstats? Tbh I've never come across u before as I'm kinda a ball python specific guy, that said I'm a huge fan of the enclosures. 30+ yrs in a drawer doesn't sound like a great life too me. Even after 10 yrs of breeding. Absolutely best video on youtube on this matter. Straight forward, simplified, can be used for most species. Impressive

I really wish that all the bioactive people could flood their houses with bugs and dirt and have all the success in the world. Bugs on their pillows, and also, success. It must be so disappointing to realize that captive conditions cannot be the same as a roofless forest with thousands of square hectares of space.

Have you tried Reptilinks for feeding? I was just thinking what you said as far as pinkies not being nutritious.

A diamond is a dream snake. I'm not quite ready for a snake and won't be a collector, so I'll be very intentional when I get one. Noted as a potential breeder!

Question: Can you keep emerald tree boas and GTP in the same room. Researching says because of different diseases that can be transmitted between the two you shouldn't. If captive bred it should be OK rite or wrong ?
