Just found your channel today and i'm enjoying how much effort you put into explaining your thoughts. Out of curiosity, is there a reason you're considering an air source heat pump vs a ground one?

Thanks for the comments. Ground source would have been way more expensive for relatively little gain in efficiency (more than double the price for about 10-20% better efficiency). Plus there would have been a lot more disruption with installation. We've actually had the air source heat pump fitted now, so I'll be doing a new video on that soon. Hopefully!

@@GreenTubers Ah, that's totally understandable! From my perspective, I was thinking they might be helpful to keep rooms cool during summer, but i hadn't appreciated that the price difference was that vast. Looking forward to the next video!
