GREEN WOOD CEMETERY - NYC's Hidden Gem.

Green-Wood is a phenomenal outdoor space that also happens to have been the inspiration for both Central and Prospect Parks. It is considered a "living" cemetery because it hosts so many events e.g. Moonlight Walk with historian (accompanied by two accordionists), there are numerous art events, it is a must-see for history buffs and it's also a great spot for birders. One of my all-time favorite places to get a "country" fix while in NYC.
