Decline of US Products Mauna. Loa nuts inedible.

I bought two bags of nuts from Mauna Loa with good dating. The nuts were spoiled. Mauna Loa ignored my requests for good customer service.

I agree with you Bill. I remember when Wendy's and Little Caesars were good but now I feel like I'm eating fake food.

Most of our corperate produced food has shrunk, gone up in price and become barely edible. Some of it will kill outright. Leave it on the shelf and go find some real food to eat. People that sell me garbage and then do nothing about it are forever banned at my house.

Went to Costco yesterday and the organic tortillas wrap states no added sugar yet the ingredients list cane sugar. An appliance repair guy told me you really need to research each and every appliance model because a lot of brand names will subcontract certain models to fill in gaps so the brand you’re buying could potentially be made by a different manufacturer. My old monkey-ward dishwasher lasted 30 years and was only retired due to parts no longer available. My current Kenmore dishwasher dies every couple of years because steam keeps corroding the fancy circuit board due bad design.

This is senseless. I refuse to purchase bad good or crappy defective products. If US companies think they can rip me off the have another thing coming. If you can't sell it, you are out of business. Join me in boycotting crap and poor service. I refuse to stand for it.

I don't shop at Costco but I am not surprised at the report. If they get smaller, and they add THC people in California can smoke them like a cigarette instead

I've been that way with business most of my life. If more people would be firm our products would be bigger, better and cheaper. Business depends on sales. We control the traffic if we work together.

I think you should talk to folks who like the tourists to comsume macadamia nuts: hotel organization, tourism Hawaii, Aloha Airlines? Or maybe call one of the reporters who broadcast local news on TV...

I went staight to Mauna loa. they are the ones that should care. They didn't care so I went to the BBB and reported them. Past that, my solution is simple. I will never buy their crap again. The problem is theirs, not mine. I refuse to worry over it.

Bought and had installed a Frigidaire Dishwasher in May, quit working 3 months later, finally sent a repairman and it worked for a week. I just messaged the local company I bought it from that I want a full refund. We shall see, lol.

I realize that Fridgidaire used to be a quality US brand. I would blame anyone for thinking it still is. Sadly, if you look up peoples ratings you will find the brand has turned into garbage just like the Mauna Loa macnuts i spit down the sink. We have turned into a nation that manufactures over priced junk. My ice box, washer and drier are Korean, they work great. The last two dish washers were German, they were a dream. My vacuum is American and it took 2 months of haggling with customeer service before they finally sent me on that worked. On the other hand my power washer, made in China, Mexico or Thailand, just exploded a large compassitor that went up like a grenade and blew apart the housing. I guess other countries make junk too.

Huh about your Chevy! We have the 2018 bolt and have steering rack problems. At least that's what Chevy theorizes. The mechanic down at the dealership quoted 1600 or some ridiculous amount and didn't guarantee a fix. In our case it is only manifesting as a dull and almost inaudible "clunk" when turning the wheel. Doesn't happen all of the time. We have elected to just let it be, but it's stupid. At least it isn't Tesla levels of stupid though :) - Gotta look on the bright side.

I used to admire Musk's genius. Lately he has proven the line between genius and insanity is razor thin. I'm sorry that he has some of the best solar batteries on the market and I own one. I am having second installed but I'm not pleased with Musk. I reported Chevy to the NTSB & to Better Business but it did nothing. I considered taking them to small claims court to recover the $2400 it cost me. At this point, I'm just tired. I would not leave the rack as is. The day it freezes up and a few dozen people die Chevy might do a recall. But not until there is blood on the highway.

I get better every day. I love my home. Driving EV instead of gas is amazing and running my home on solar energy is a real improvement. My stock market investments have done very, very well in the past 3 years. On the other hand we can't seem to build a jet plane anymore and we have people trapped in space because of crappy space capsules. Then there is Washington.
