Now imagine an empty field except there’s a nice old greenhouse right in the middle, like a big grassy field with a blue horizon with small fluffy white clouds spread about. Now add your cucumber and melon water, and finally imagine that kind of 2009 camera quality where the saturation looks like its set a bit too high as if your eyes were seeing like that and there ya go, mood is set.

I was having a breakdown when I clicked on this video, just barely distracted from it by a science video. And then I clicked on this. Almost immediately, I felt a sense of okayness wash over me. Of wellbeing. Not the sense of relaxation and calm mental static that lofi usually gives, but a feeling that things will be alright. That the world is okay, and I’m not what my thoughts say. Like... like standing in a greenhouse, with no responsibilities or worries, if just for a little while. Thank you for this. Really helped slow a wickedly low moment to a stop and keep it from spiraling back out of control.

About a year ago, when all the craziness started, and I was kind of in a lost place, I started jogging. I'm not athletic and I wasn't jogging to look good or anything. I jogged because it felt refreshing. The world was so unfamiliar and things were changing everyday, and when I jogged outside in the refreshing spring air I felt like I had something again. I always listened to this playlist when I jogged and it was such a wonderful thing to just get lost into the soft rhythm of my steps and the music. I felt alone, but not really lonely. It helped me make sense of such a warped world.
