Greenland is part of Denmark, a Scandinavian country and therefore a prosperous country with free healthcare, free school and university education, children can go to school without the risk of being shot, they also have one of the best school systems in the world. They have strict laws that protect them from dishonest businessmen, laws that remove politicians who lie or accept money, and they are working hard to avert the climate catastrophe that is now part of their everyday life - no matter what ignorant, poorly educated Americans say. Why in the world would they voluntarily go back 70-80 years in time and become part of the American banana republic.

Then President Trump, in an off hand manner, floated the idea of buying Greenland from Denmark. Perhaps this term, he should be more interested? Having Greenland as a legitimate trading partner would help wean us away from utilizing China.
