I was a victim of this outage. I still find this outage admiring, insane, and peculiar how they crashed because of an increase of players. That kind of issue can be fixed pretty quickly. A memory I had was that people, including me were making jokes. I did touch grass for all those three days, though. Edit: You guys, I am aware it wasn’t that bad. I never cried about it. I don't think I'm right but my guess as to why it's called the burrito incident is because the chipotle event was taking place and players spiked, adding salt to the wound was that it was nearling halloween, so people were trying to get their halloween event rewards fast, leading to the servers being overwhelmed crashing with severe damage

When this happened to me i just came home from school, and I went to my room to play some Roblox. I unlocked my iPad, and opened Roblox . I was logged out, and I got a little worried because I’m very scared of losing my account. So I tried to log in, but it didn’t work so I immediately thought I was hacked. I came crying to my dad and asked him if he could help me. He tried because he made my password, this thing happened to my siblings, friends, family,and other people. Then he told me that there probably was a issue, and Roblox would go back to normal next day. All day long I was trying to do play other games instead of worrying about what just happened. A day later it still wasn’t working. Okay at first I thought it was my little brother because he’s a spoiled brat and he wasn’t in kindergarten “because he was sick” all the time to I blamed him, it wasn’t really nice of me to blame him because it happened to my two siblings. A few days later it was Halloween and I was dressed up as a witch I didn’t really care about Roblox because it WILL COME BACK SOON. I went trick or treating with my parents and the day after I could log into my account I was so happy so I stayed up like 10 hours playing Roblox with my sister and brother. So yeah Roblox definitely has a big place in their communities hearts. So yeah if this ever happens again I think it will be back in 5 hours or so. But yeah this was my story bye ✌️

I remember this SO well. I was kicked out of a previous game I was playing (PTFS), so I decided to join a different game known as “Airport Tycoon” by Blue Whale Games. When I joined however, I had switched to a Noob Skin. I was a Bacon Skin, but for some reason I had transferred to a Noob Skin. I thought my Bacon Skin would load, but nada, nothing happened. I decided “You know what? I might as well just play. Probably an issue with my internet”. As I tried to load in my Airport, nothing happened. Then I got stuck. I couldn’t move. The game kicked me out…again…but this time the Home Page didn’t load. I closed out of Roblox quickly. I hoped that I could join Roblox again in a few hours. Nothing. So I went to sleep.

I remember being on the website when that happened. For a few minutes I tried refreshing the page until Roblox actually loaded one game.. and that game was Epic Minigames. I was so glad. I stayed in that server for hours but then ended up leaving since I had to go to bed. The next day I couldn't play and had to wait. But still, I played Roblox during an outage which was really cool being like the only one on the website. 🙃

BTW I was the only one that could play in this outage because I had roblox studio opened before the outage and during the outage I realized wow I could still play in roblox studio which technically was one of the only players that could still play during the night during the spike of the outage within like 62 hours or something and I got to play while nobody else can

I'm getting so much memories from this shutdown. Back in 2021, I was in 7th grade, and once I got home on the 28th of October, I went on Roblox just to play Jailbreak, then suddenly, the screen "We're making things more awesome. Be back soon." shocked me. I've never been so flabbergasted in my life. When I tell you, I was freaking out for who knows how long, because all I wanted to do was just to play Roblox, but I couldn't because of a malfunction (idk). And as we all know, when we tried getting on our accounts, it would refuse. I was freaking out, I thought someone hacked my account and probably spent all of my cash in JB. I'm surprised this only lasted for 3 days, but in my eyes, this was by far the worst 3 days (until November came around). But yeah, its crazy that 3 years flew by so quickly, and looking back at it, I fucking miss it so much with a passion.
