Nuendo does everything , if you have Nuendo you don’t need Cubase

You failed to mention that for some illogical reason the mute button on FaderTracks doesn't work in Nendo and you can't link channels as easy as you can in Cubase because if you hit the Link Channels button, in the box that pops up they've taken away the add Fader Track option I'm very disappointed because there doesn't seem to be any logical reason why and on their coparison lists they didn't include things yoiu can do in Cubase that you can't do in Nuendo. You should be able tro do everything in Nuendo that you can in Cubase plus the extras

Nuendo is better since it has almost everything that Cubase has but much more! It's more expensive though.

Thanks for this great comparison! How are you running cubase and nuendo at the same time? I understood that you can upgrade to nuendo from cubase but then the license gets replaced by the nuendo one? I’d like to get nuendo but would like to keep cubase on my machine for access to older projects where I am forced to use earlier versions for sharing compatibility (9.5/10/10.5) for instance on top of my c11.

Hey Ed, I actually bought a full Nuendo license when it was on sale so I kept my Cubase license. Nuendo is compatible with cubase sessions (even older ones) but I haven't tried to open a C9.5 session in Nuendo to be honest. What features make you want to upgrade?

I'm currently using Ableton Lite intro I want to switch to nuendo would I still be able to produce music or I'll still need to get Cubase if I can't I'll just have to stick with Ableton Lite bounce out stems to mix Dolby Atmos in nuendo which I don't want to do I'm trying to avoid Ableton the virgin that I have is limiting and not my preferred DAW I all so do video for my youtu.be channel which nuendo would work well with which Ableton live isn't designed for video work it more live performing with hardware synthesizers

I honestly think they should make one program and don't play this cheap marketing trick! The differences are minor! Cubase 12 now supports Dolby Atmos!

Nuendo is marketing to big studio's wiith deep pockets. Cubase is marketing to a more reasonable budget. Basically the same program marketing to, 2 different budget tiers.
