The most fulfilling part of that trip was sitting there reading the messages from the visitors that have stayed there, it fascinated me and filled me with joy untill i finished the whole book, which is cool cause I struggle to concentrate long enough to finish a whole book. That didn't cross my mind until I watched this video. The joy in the way she was explaining her "visitors" and her smile, sparked something inside of me. Maybe your mother has health problems - sounds like she does if you're caring for her. I do know that since my accident and mega neglect of my injuries & needs by doctors (because doctors' errors caused them one day: BAM I lost my health & fit strong body & good brain) I get very very low: I lost my job and then my home and have been moved around to different temporary and unsuitable lodgings = now living where I\d never even visited and don't want to be and knew nobody and am still very lost. I enjoy simple things like nature and sunshine and friends family (but hardly hear from most of them now, so sad), I don't need lots of money but at the moment have NO income and that's very scary. But at least (at the moment) I'm not homeless and I have enough food to eat = I'm far luckier than some. What I'm trying to say is that for some of us life can be (is) more difficult than for others. All the best to you.
@jennyhughes44744 жыл бұрын
@@thehappywanderer6469 Thank you for your kind reply. I'm SO sorry to read what happened to you, terrible & very very difficult. Personally I've learned so MANY lessons for SO long & I'm totally exhausted & broken (& MORE injured) from being 'tested' & overloaded in so many ways (physical & psychological) for almost 15 years by so many people & so many traumatising events (since medical errors wrecked my life) = some of us are tested to destruction, I have been, am. I have daily replays (NOT my choice) of docs' lies & denials & their cover-ups = I do my best to block them out but unless busy I can't & I can't be busy ALL the time. And the pain from the injuries they gave me, although partially blocked when I do my art, actually now (since MORE injured) are much worse after (neck & back) which makes me a bit scared to do much of the only thing I have = my art. When I lived in France I could sometimes get to the sea & swim/float in it = wonderful (good exercise & almost NO pain while in), but here in UK (unwanted forced move back) too cold & rough & difficult, I miss it. I used to love pottering in my garden but have lost my home & now here it hurts too much = mega pain. I se to love being on my bicycle but can't do that now either. Not much left now... In my own home I felt safe but ,living in rented accommodation that isn't adapted for my needs is vey hard, I do my very best though = with ALL of it, as we all do when life (& often other people's CHOICES) throws horrible stuff a us. Yes, I get very lonely but get exhausted talking & understanding speech (easier on the phone & can close my eyes & some things easier to talk about than others), I really miss my old life, ad, as you say, I do try to block out this sadness & loss & grief but it's SO hard when I go on losing MORE = repeated grieving, mostly without anyone even acknowledging this is the case. How can anyone find peace when your name's been smeared in the mud = falsely accused of being a liar & punished by doctors for being injured by doctors, & NO access to justice including what exactly they did to me & correct diagnoses of they injuries they gave me? I muddle on best I can but it isn't really a life - not life as most people know it anyway & most people don't understand how these abuses & neglect by doctors cuts right to your veey core = only others who've experienced it. I know I can't understand what you've been through & are dealing with, but I try. Best wishes to you - & all of us 'being tested' & being 'taught lessons' & who are really struggling.

Nikki Hark I think you figure this out one encounter at a time. I was driving through a little remote village in my corner of Ontario two days ago. A lady was out gardening behind 8’ high fencing... I just had to stop and chat... I made a new friend! You also have to be willing to put yourself in the way of possible encounters. I was up early that day and drove to 250 kms one way to visit another friend and pick wild apples. It was a long tiring day for a guy whose the same age as Disa... but I now have two friends in that village, and they’re both very unique. All the best as you create your future... one day at a time.

There is not much to figure out. It has always been around us: simplicity is the key. No YOLO attitude or fear in missing out. Just simple living. A human does not need much to be lucky. And consumerism/ materialism will definitely not bring you hapiness. Peace...

These have been the most peaceful few minutes I’ve had for months , the film was made last year before all the troubles and this most charming lady spoke of such simple ways to be contented , I wish with all my heart that she is safe and well , and that her words and actions will be seen and heard by many more . Thank you so much for sharing this , it really is wonderful. 👵🏼 ❤️ 🙏🏼
