Thank you! I love it. I dig a nice black pack….. but there is a special place in my heart for a nice loud bag.

They just announced some sad news on their blog about an injured coworker who made most of the Custom Rainmakers
@jeffgrantMEDIA8 ай бұрын
I saw that. They are hauling production of the Rainmaker, that’s going to be a big hit to the business. But I’m glad the employee is safe and healing up. Patrick is super resourceful, he will figure some thing out while she heals up.

@@jeffgrantMEDIA They are really amazing. I truly hope the coworker gets better soon, and that they survive everything as a business,. They deserve all the best!

Bag looks nice and well made. Was hoping to order the rainmaker custom and then the news broke about the employee and them discontinuing the line. Right as I was about to order. Was excited they are working on a V2 of the Rainmaker, but 25 is a ways off to be waiting for me. Any bags from any makers similar to the Rainmaker in your opinion?

I honestly can’t think of anything very similar to the rainmaker. It’s a very unique bag. I’m sure you can snag one in great shape in the pre-loved greenroom 136 Facebook group, Carryology or perfect pack groups. They are a great pack, but a lot of us pack enthusiasts have to sell and rotate bags to keep getting new stuff to feed the addiction!

Thanks for the video! Did you customize the hidden pocket behind the straps? I did not see mention of it. Apparently you can expand the opening and the size of that secret pocket -- big enough for a tablet or small laptop.
@jeffgrantMEDIA8 ай бұрын
You can expand it. But I went with the normal size. I don’t use it too often, but I like having it there for when i use a GR136 bag in the city.

dope review. Their intro vidoe calls the straps at the top of the straps fake load lifters. do they really not do anything?
@jeffgrantMEDIA8 ай бұрын
They do a bit, but the placement isn’t in the right spot to do as much as a “real” load lifter. But they do help to dial the bag in. I saw their video when they first dropped it and got a good laugh form the fake lifters. I think I made a comment about it in my unboxing video.

This is a great pack, but tracking in Nepal, it might be a bit heavy. It sure won’t wear out though!
