King Henry VIII, wrote this for Anne Bolynn, his 2nd wife, as she was known to wear green sleeves on her dresses alot. My mother was a music teacher and played this alot when I was little. I loved it. Did not know till much later that King Henry VIII and Mary Bolynn, Anne's sister, had a son, and so my family line was established.

Christmas "What Child is This" uses the melody from Greensleeves which is an old folk song said to have been written by King Henry VIII for Anne Boleyn.
