Love all this info. Rearranging our garden in spring. Be blessed GreenT. Staying healthy is number one priority. Best wishes for your new projects and week ahead. Sugar Snaps look yummy. Hubby has different plan for peas. Taking notes on fertilizing times. I test soil moisture with my finger. Garden center said WOW when I told an inexperienced customer.

I live in New Jersey, zone 7a. Timing is important for planting. The spring crop has to be done by June because the plants shrivel up with the warmth. In fall the frost gets them. The pods never make it inside. Thanks for a great video. Snap peas are simple to start.

You should try planting them much thicker with a sturdier trellis. I use a couple of pieces of concrete wire 7 x 4 they last forever. So the peas about 2 inches apart and get a nice thick stand. Been doing this method for decades. It works well you get thousands of snap peas.

Our you going to shell the peas or stir fry or freeze them. I have the marvel peas, they are doing good. Thanks you for the nitrogen information. My kale, broccoli, brussel sprouts leaves are green as they should be.

@Greentgarden question, do I shell the peas or eat the outer shell, too?
@GreentgardenАй бұрын
Some people do both. I just eat the piece not the shell... I compost the outside shell part
