Ok putting this mower together you did good, now using it with the mulching plug in it you cut to much grass. When mulching you cut 1/3 of you grass and cut it every week. If cut every two weeks use a bag, you don’t want to much grass clippings in the lawn at one time.

Hello, Do you leave the mulching plug in while mowing and if you do, do you have to also use the side attachment? Thanks!

I'm not a professional, but if I'm not using the bag, I leave the mulching plug in. With the mulching plug, you can choose to use or not use the side attachment. If you want to use the bag, then you'll have to take off both the side attachment and mulching plug. If your grass is really high, I recommend using the side attachment. Otherwise, I mow every two weeks, and the mulching plug by itself works great.

Just ordered replacement PLASTIC carb for my new 2 year old mower ,The old one lasted 15 years,(!), with general maintenance at the start of every cutting season....Not this new one,ut uh ....My Son and Daughter just showed me this one,(on order ,love my 6 year old green works snowblower!!!), ..RANT.....I will keep the newly ordered carb as a souvenir to ...yesteryear...before gas with ,(in my mind),an industry,(PROFIT),sanctioned SHORT shelf life was Ok'd so that my Grandson can understand,( big oil/BIG BUSINESS ), things ...First hand ...I bet they ,(BIG OIL),makes a lot of ,back door,extra cash via the sale of stabilizers ,instead of fixing this evil at the terminals !!

Gary, the problem today is the gas, its all an ethanol blend which wreaks small engine carberators, especially if its left in the carb over winter.

I fucking hate gas power mowers. shit my first mower at the moment is corded Mower right now. Am 30 years old.... no one has time to go the gas station. Plus, I have my first house now so, I want something nice.
