Really want to speed up and make it easy, spray down your surfaces with a foam cannon filled with a mix of either bleach and water at 50/50 or pool chlorinator 10% and water 50/50, add a few squirts of Dawn blue soap into the mix and let it rip. Spray down the area you're trying to clean, let it sit for a few minutes and wash off. Let the chemical soap do the work, not you. Those mixes will help kill any algae or growth you want to get rid of. Especially if you live in the south.

Great to see a satisfied user of one of these. I've been on the fence about purchasing since I see so many negative product reviews for various models of these small application surface cleaners. I'll mention one thing, it’s my understanding is the "brush around the edge" is really not for scrubbing but a skirt to keep the water in/under the unit and allows lower friction so it can be moved around easier than just scraping the plastic shell on the ground.
@diymaggie5 ай бұрын
Great point about the brushes, Robert. You're more than likely right about that. I just can't help myself from 'scrubbing' with them. That said, I'm into my second year of using it and it's still working beautifully!

I fell into one of these a few years ago after my kids read my amazon wish list and got me the man free (tired of begging for the gas one to be fixed) pressure washer aka greenworks 1501. I've used it all over campground patio, home patio, friends borrow it best $30 I've ever spent!!

Really well done -- THANKS! We just ordered one of these since it's considered "universal," for our SunJoe SPX3200 (which we are happy with). Sure hope it fits. Per reviews, this seems to be about twice as good yet half the price of the SJ accessory. Thanks again.

Try the ryobi water broom attachment to push all the dirty water off what you just cleaned. The more jets on the attachment, the less water pressure behind them. Pressure washer wand - 1 jet. Surface cleaner - 2 jets. Ryobi water broom - 3 jets. The water broom is good for lighter cleaning or quick maintenance , but it works best to push everything off of the surface you just did an aggressive cleaning on. Well worth $50.

I've never used the detergent. I'm not crazy about the chemicals getting into my grass. I find if I wet the area first, it helps loosen the algae and it comes off pretty easily.

Hi DIY Maggie (or anyone else). First, a very nice review! I just picked up this surface cleaner and looking to get started. Question - does anyone know of an extension wand that will fit this Greenworks 2300 Pro to help wash an upper level /2nd story? Thanks

Just a comment on the technique. Move the head slower and let the nozzles do the work. Moving back and forth rapidly does not help since you're not "scrubbing" the surface. Same for vacuuming with "beater bar" power head. Go slow and let the beater bar do the work for you.

Sorry, but this is basically good for 1 or 2 real jobs, then it’s a throw away item. I think all,of these sub 40 dollar units are the same junk. I bought one, and it works, but the center spinny bit wears out and you can’t fix it. Once it starts leaking you lose a lot of pressure at the tips. It seems that at a 75 dollar starting point , they start jumping a lot in quality. Don’t buy a Bushing type center hub. Sealed Bearings if you want it to last more than a couple of uses.
@diymaggie5 ай бұрын
Sorry to tell you, but I'm STILL using it. What's it been two or more years? Still works great!
@wassim2k Жыл бұрын
Mine never worked, it would not spin, the tips would just leak and spray water everywhere. No, it's not clogged, it was like that out of the box. Complete junk.
